Hitec 37955S HS-7955TG Ultra Torque Titanium Gear Digital Servo

I went to much trouble removing the slop out of my XO-1's steering. I added bearings in place of the standard shoulder screws and shimmed everything tight. I needed a servo that would be equally precise and have enough force to keep the XO-1 where I pointed it.This servo is fabulous and came with plenty of accessories. I am using it in a stability management system using a Futaba drift gyro. It has plenty of torque and it's fast enough to keep up with the gyro. I haven't had any bad accidents with it installed so I don't know how well the gears will hold up, but I suspect it's as strong as you are going to find in this size.

Excellent servo that was installed in an Axial RR10 Bomber. I hit a log on a trail and thought I damaged the servo. Low and behold, the servo works perfect still, it just stripped the aluminum steering arm gears so I only have a $4 part to replace instead of this very strong servo.If you are questioning if this servo is for your 1/10th scale RC vehicle, Yes, it's 100% worth the money! Just Do It!!!

This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer, which caused some suppliers to raise the price because is has proven to be an exceptionally good product. Their price is very competitive and they shipped when they said they would.

This is a great servo, but I think I got a defective case. In no time at all, the cap completely broke clean off the servo.

This servo is fast works great.the only thing mine broke off cheap plastic case.

I needed a steering servo on my new Losi Night Crawler because the stock one wasnt powerful enough to move the wheels when the wheels were on a rock or against something. I found a higher end version of this server that was much more expensive and decided to go with this one and it was perfect. This server has NO ISSUES moving both tires of the rock crawler against any surface, it is great. It is a quality product and the connectors were a perfect fit for the Losi R/C system.I will post a couple pictures of the servo.

Amazing servo. My Axial servo horn worked its self loose. When I noticed it I saw metal shavings and thought, crap there goes the splines on the servo. Much to my surprise the servo shredded the servo horn and the servo gears are like new still. I would much rather replace a $13 servo horn than a $100 servo any day. I would buy this item again!!

I have the hitec hs-7955tg on a 8.5 wraith. This was one of my first upgrades. I have big pitbull tires and custom aluminum wrims with bead locks. the tires alone weight 10.5oz a peice. I am also not running a BEC on it at all and it pushes these tires around like air. Ill never need another servo.
