Perfect companion for flipping through while watching the anime.
Other reviewers have said that the binding is backwards. Wow.Manga is mainly produced in Japan. For those who don’t know, the Japanese way of writing and reading is backwards from ours. They start at the “back” of the book and write toward the “front”. So yes, it’s backwards from the way we read but it is completely normal. That being said and clarified, this book is awesome. The artwork is clean and sharp, the colors vibrant. The information inside is all encompassing and thorough for the characters and monsters and even backstory.Buy this book.

fantastic read
My favorite for the 2024. Even more details than the TV series. Cannot wait for the new season to begin on Netflix! You can feel that the author really love and care for each character!

Great for dungeon meshi enjoyers
If you want to dive further in the great worl building by Ryoko Kuy, this is a must. The book expands on the geography, the characters, the nature of the creatures, the world in general. It is well printed and uses good materials, the art is gorgeous and is also lengthy. I would say is a must for fans of the main series.

Excellent
Book is smaller than I thought but I love it. Gonna start reading the manga because I love the anime.

Must have for Dungeon Meshi fans
This book was out of print for a while! It’s a must-have for dungeon meshi fans. It comes in color with tons of illustrations of each character. I was surprised it’s formatted left to right instead of Japanese-style right to left like in the manga but that doesn’t matter much since it’s more of a guidebook and bonus book.

Wonderful Addition to the Manga Series!
The World Guide book is simply amazing, it does an overall review of our characters' stories and adds in new information and stories related to each (main and supporting) characters whom we love. You might want to go through the story in the series first and then read the Guide Book to avoid spoilers. The book quality is great, but it's thinner than I thought. However, it compensates with the coloring manga and very funny stories. One minus point to the editing is the text can get really freaking small, plus I have bad eyesight. So here we go, every time I read I have to squint my eyes real hard people think I'm being captivated and concentrated on the book, which is true, but mostly because the text is hard to read.I would recommend this Guide, 100/10 for content, 8/10 for editing, either get yourself a magnifying glass or Yen Press, please re-print this book in bigger font.

Great book, woefully undersized format.
It's good, but as the image shows, the text in some sections demonstrates that this book should have been printed at a much larger size, and almost feels like it originally was intended to be. An entire paragraph of text should not be smaller than my thumb. To be honest I'm getting tired of going to the extra expense and effort to purchase hard copies of manga, yet almost always ending up with pocket-sized formats that haven't been relevant since the 90's. The cost of printing is not so overwhelming that a slightly larger page size would have raised the price to any meaningful extent.
