very nice pieces , they are small but just right for 3 yr old and dont take up much room at all

I was looking for something realistic with moving parts. This set is awesome, sturdy and keeps him busy!!!

I got this construction set for my GF's little boys. It states there is a bulldozer but it's actually a front end loader.This is the 3rd set of different types of construction sets and all 3 said bulldozer but every one was actually a front end loader. I don't think toy makers actually know what a bulldozer is.Other than not getting a bulldozer again, it's a really nice construction set. In fact, it's the best out of the 3 because all arms, buckets, and lifts move like the real thing.Forklift: forks fold upwards like some real forklifts; it has a 2 stage lifting like real forklifts; however, there is a piece over the forks that can pull off and not sure what it's for since I drove forklifts for years and never had one like this. All 4 wheels turn good and there is a gearing motor in it so they can rev it up and let it run.Dump truck: the bed lifts up so to dump stuff out and the truck has a gearing motor so they can rev it up and let it go.Cement mixer truck: The mixer barrel spins but not smoothly, it has a clicking gear that you have to force it to spin; no cement shoot though; it also has a gearing motor that they can wind up and let it go.Front end loader (not a bulldozer): the front end loader has a bucket that tilts up or down as to pick up dirt and dump it onto or into something; the arm to the bucket lifts up so you can put dirt into the back of the dum truck; and it has a gearing motor so they can wind it up and let it go.Smaller excavator or what I would call a backhoe: the bucket moves up and down just as if you were digging a hole; the arm has 2 sections that move separately so to work like a real backhoe; and it also has a gearing motor so you can wind it up and let it go.Last because this one is my favorite!It's a large excavator on tracks (not wheels like the backhoe): it has tracks because this one is the big boy of a construction site so it rolls like a tank (no gearing motor since it doesn't have wheels but instead, rubber treads); The bucket does not move up and down separately as when digging a hole like the backhoe, it actually moves with the second arm, which has an actual control arm on the side of the cab that you can control like you are digging and moving dirt; the first arm moves up and down so you can raise the second arm and bucket to dump dirt off to the side or in the back of the dump truck; and what makes this the most real like is the cab turns sideways on the tracks so you can spin it to the left or right as moving dirt from in front of you to either side of you.These are all pretty much the same size so they are not to scale or proportion to each other.The little boys are going to love these but being made out of plastic, I don't know how they will hold up to rough play of a construction site.I'll update this in a month to see how it holds up.
