I’ve always wanted one of these and this one exceeded expectations. Put together in seconds but incredibly sturdy and heavy. The ice bucket lifts on and off easily. I think this might be my new go to wedding present.

So elegant looking. Easy set up. Easy to take to other places. Nice quality. Doesn’t look cheap and I always get lots of compliments on it.

This is a very classy looking wine bucket/stand ... worthy of a 5-star hotel or classy restaurant! I like the silver color best ... the exterior has a polished shine to it which looks very ritzy with a bottle of champagne and ice in it. The reason I took a star off is that the packaging is terrible! Forget about it being giftable ... it comes in a cardboard box with the pieces rattling around. The base is weighted, which is great, but it slides around in the box banging into the other pieces and causing scratches and dents. I think it should come in a nicer box with compartments for the price.I decided not to return it because although one side of the bucket is scratched a bit and the stand has some dings in it, which reflect the light, I don't see getting a perfect one given the lack of packaging and I do love the way it looks.From a performance standpoint, it works well at keeping the bottle cold. You can easily fit a champagne bottle or wine bottle ... 2 or 3 bottles or cans of beer, or a bottle of vodka if you are having caviar. There is plenty of room for ice to surround the bottle and the height and diameter of the bucket allows you to lift the bottle in and out without spilling the ice. You will have to shift the ice around a little when putting the bottle back in but overall it's designed well and easy to use.The bucket does sweat a bit, which can lead to a little wetness in the groove the bucket rests in over time. This is due to the condensation formed due to the cold metal and warm exterior air meeting..double-walled buckets don't have this issue but this is a single walled bucket. The finish is nice and I hope it stays that way without tarnishing ... if it is stainless (not marked). The pole is made of hollow metal and the base seems like thin metal filled with something like concrete or sand to weight it down.At first I didn't like the safety bars that kept the bucket on the stand because it made it look a bit like a 1970's ashtray. However, with ice and a bottle, it looks a lot classier and I now am okay with the little rails. Between the weighted base and the rails, it is very unlikely the bucket will fall of the stand ... but it can easily be lifted out and placed on a table. (If you do this, make sure to have a cork pad or cloth under the bucket as it will likely sweat on the table making a puddle.Overall, check out my photos to see how classy this can look ... it makes my bar area look like a 1st class train dining car or hotel restaurant. I especially like this for summer when I can bring it out on my deck and have a cold bottle of champagne and a cigar. I am very glad I bought this. My only concerns are the bad package, which causes some minor shipping damage and the fact that if the single screw which attaches the base to the pole breaks ... the pole basically becomes useless and you are left with a tabletop ice bucket. Until that happens, be prepared to wow your guests!
