Fabulous Hong Tze Collection-Beijing Foo Dogs SM

These are great! Just got them delivered today (they were in bubble wrap in a box with styrofoam inside of another box with a few other things from Amazon- no broken pieces or anything). They are a little smaller than I was imagining in my head but they look so great in person and I'm glad we ordered them for my husband's office. They look like a much brighter red than was represented in the picture so I'll try to add a picture or two to show what color the ones I got are (no big deal to me but if you want a super dark red I might look for a different pair). The detail on them is gorgeous and way better than I had anticipated for what I paid. I would definitely buy these again if needed.

Arrived on time, well packed. They are well carved. I really like them. They fit perfectly on either side of the stair riser and don't get in the way, even for my senior dog as she climbs the staircase. They look much better than I had thought they would.

Very nice pair of foo dogs. My only beef is that the pedestal base the female foo dog is sitting on is not symmetrical to the male's. It is slightly smaller than the male's pedestal and tilted to one side. It makes the female piece slightly smaller. I don't know if this is intentional. When placed side by side it is clearly noticeable and detracts from overall beauty of the pair. However, since placed them on either side of my front door, I don't think anyone will notice. The packaging has been improved upon since earlier reviews. It arrived without any chips or dings.

These were very small and came with some flaws on them. I knew they would be some type of plastic or resin but the mold used was not a mirror image which I wanted because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. But they weren't the same height even, one was slouching more than the other. The mold was imperfect too and there were some chips in the back. I do like the color of these though-the paint job was well done. If they had only been mirror images with no flaws I would have kept them. One of them was in much better shape but I need two.

These are much heavier than i expected, they look nice and glossy, just as pictured, about 3 and a half inches tall...i wish foo dogs in general were cheaper. These were a good value for what i was looking for

Good product! As mentioned, the color is slightly different between the 2, but not noticeable unless you're really looking for it. The detail is phenomenal and it has some heft to it. I have it currently on my TV stand and it looks great!

These are a little on the small side, although they are probably heavy enough to serve as bookends. Unfortunately, the packaging was almost non-existent and they both arrived broken. Extremely disappointing. The craftsmanship was fine, but when pieces are broken off it ruins the effect. I had to return the item.

These Foo Dogs came quickly and were not damaged. They were packaged very soundly, actually. They were just as advertised and I love them! They are beautiful and finely detailed. They are solid and somewhat heavy for their size. I was not dissipointed at all!
