Squirrels were digging in my plants, and I was looking for a humane way to keep them away. When I searched for "squirrel repellent," there were about a gazillion results, ranging from colorful, noisy strips of foil to predator urine to chemicals. I wasn't sure these fake owls would work, but if they didn't, they were on sale for a bargain price, and I could always keep them for decoration and try something else to get rid of the squirrels. I'm sure they look vicious to squirrels, but I think they're cute. Each one is slightly different, with differently shaped ears and different facial features. However, they are about the same size and surprisingly life-like. They are amazingly effective if you move them around regularly. Once I left them too long in the same positions, and I saw some evidence of a little digging in the pot that was further away from all of the owls. I sat an owl in that pot, and there were no more signs of squirrels. I really didn't expect them to work so well, but I'm glad they do!

Bargain priced, works like a charm to keep birds from nesting where they’re not wanted. Keeps pests away too!

Seems to be a reasonable likeness to an owl! Used to deter a Coopers Hawk from catching our Red Squirrels on the Deck,

I AM USING THEM TO SCARE OFF THE BIRDS FROM MY FRONT PORCH. THEY STAYED AWAY FOR AWHILE BUT A FEW CAME BACK, THEY MUST KNOW THE OWLS ARE FAKE. I AM LEAVING THEM ON THE PORCH BECAUSE I AM PLEASE WITH THE RESULTS.. IT IS KEEPING THE BIRDS AWAY!!

I purchased these bc my neighbor recommended that I placed owls to prevent the birds from coming onto my deck. These are awesome as bird repellents!

These were large and very fake looking. Not an attractive enhancement to garden for hawk and snake safety.

They sure scare away hummingbirds. But, I bought them for snakes and rabbits.
