Disappointed
Rarely do I write reviews however since this is the holiday season and panettone is a tradition, I wanted to share my opinion of this product with you. Normally I order a different brand and have for several years. Since we don't care for raisins we always buy the chocolate chip panettone . This one caught my eye and after reading the interesting story of the baker and many reviews I decide to purchase it. Shipping was prompt and product was well packaged, expiration date of 06/2019. Preparing as always, warmed it slightly and sprinkled lightly w/powdered sugar. This is the driest panettone I have ever tasted & my whole family agrees. I should have stuck with what I knew. Hopefully this won't happen to you if you order it. Now I will be ordering the old standby.

Stale!! Very dry
Received one as a gift and it was so good that I decided to order two more on line. Had an expiration date of 6/2019. It was horrible - very dry, nothing like the one that I received as a gift. This batch must be left over from last season. Reluctant to give up on it since it is delicious when not 'defective'. Proceed with caution on next purchase.
