Great value! Fun for all
Bought this to use at my daughter's cheer competitions. I instantly became the life of the party! Very loud!

Animals hate its ample amplification.
How can such a simple form do so much? This stadium horn is simply an attenuated funnel but it certainly amplifies voices! It also distorts them. It works best for me with lower notes so I had to just roar into it or emphasis certain consonants. For example yelling 'GREAT will get you a lot of GRR-RR sound and not much 't.' Experimenting with it is part of the fun. It's too long and pointed to be a toy IMO. My dogs hate it and so did the buzzards that were attempting to nest nearby. (Sound is one of the few legal defenses we humans have against endangered or protected species that are infringing on our space. )

It is nice that it collapses into 1/3s

Doesn't make any sound!
I was expecting a pretty sweet plastic vuvuzela but instead I got a hunk of plastic that was CUT IN HALF (presumably to help it fit during the shipping process) once I managed to put it together (using tape) it was about as effective as rolling up a piece of cardboard paper. Overall terrible quality and terrible shipping.

Got it 12 years ago and still works
I got this exact one 12 years ago. People who complain about it not working don't realize it's basically a trumpet you have to make the sound and the vuvuzela amplifies the sound. Buy one with an attachment if you just want to be able to blow into it. It still collapses and then extends just fine.

poor quality
My granddaughter had fun with it, but it broke within an hour. I repaired it with duct tape and it is still making noise. I guess it would be OK for using at a game if you don't expect to keep it long term. It could be made better. I wouldn't waste the money.

Vuvuzela
It makes noise.... it's retractable and it works. Came on time, what more could you want from a Vuvuzela. Now I have to wait four more years to use it again (World Cup Soccer).
