Harley-Davidson Men's Scout Leather Motorcycle Harness Casual Boot

I bought these for my Husband as a gift. They are so handsome and sexy I love them! If I was a man I would have bought myself a pair as well. They are comfortable and the quality is excellent.

Best boots ever bought

I was a little leery of buying "yet another boot" to see if it would work for me. I must have at least half a dozen pairs of riding boots and shoes. A couple WAY too heavy. One pair the toe too boxy and gets caught. A couple are cumbersome to get on. One pair looked great online - sucks up close and on my foot. Looks great - but no traction on the sole. SOOO many reasons boots just don't work. THIS PAIR DID.This boot IS light. I read that they were not that heavy - and I was pleasantly surprised. The leather is thinner than some of the other boots - which helps keep the weight down. It's plenty thick enough to stop flying stones, bugs and the like from pinging your legs. My heavier boots are fine if all I'm going to do is ride. But if you're going to get off and do ANY walking? LIGHT is never a bad thing.The heel is supposedly about an inch - it goes from about 3/4" in the front of the heel to just about 7/8" at the back. One thing that has plagued ME is that, at 6'3", I have long legs - and most of these boots that I end up with have heels that just push my legs up too far to be comfy when I'm seated on the bike. These are truly perfect.The fit - I wear a 12 normally and I ordered the 12. A thin pair of socks - leaves a bit of slop, and heavier "boot socks" ARE a bit much. So if you wear "boot socks" with your boots - I suggest maybe getting a half size larger. I normally wear just medium weight socks for the most part and they're dead on at least for 12s.These boots have a nice lug-type sole on them and really help me get some grip when it's time to push my half-ton bike around - literally.With the short shaft on these, I do use some boot/pant clips to keep my pant legs down. They work wonders. And love the zipper - just a whole lot easier to get on and off.I am ecstatic with these boots. I have the brown ones and suspect I'm going to just go ahead and get the black ones too ;) Best d*mned boots I've ever bought for riding. Bar none.

The boot box had a large tear/rip in the bottom ans clear package tape was holding the box closed. The packaging inside the box was torn and ripped when the boots were packed into the box. There were some superficial scratches on the boots as well. Received on time and fit well. Was worried due to how the package looked upon arrival. Box was packaged in a large shipping plastic envelope that was half ripped open on one end upon arrival, as well.

Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, comfortable and stylish. As soon as I received them I when to an even where I walked uphill, downhill and flat surfaces and I was surprised that I didn’t kill my feet despite fact I walked 10 miles. I when down a half size because Harley footwear runs big.

I am very pleased with these boots, especially for the price (I got mine for less than $100). They run SLIGHTLY large, but the stock insoles are very thin, so I just put in a good set of quality insoles and they fit fine now. I am typically a Frye and Ariat fan for boots, but I wanted something with a little bit more rugged feel for everyday use. These boots do not disappoint. The matte leather looks great and the soles look like they're well constructed and will last for years. They are Goodyear welt, so they can easily be replaced by a shoe repair shop, too. The zipper is excellent quality and they'r easy to get on and off. The boots are also relatively lightweight and they have broken in very quickly. I wore them for the first time on a Monday and by Thursday I was able to wear them for 17 hours with absolutely zero discomfort. I can't even do that in my favorite pair of Frye boots that cost 4X more than these. One thing to note: If they feel a little narrow at first, give it a few days. I have an average to slightly wide foot and they felt a little tight at first. After a couple of days of break-in, the width is perfect.Overall, I am pleasantly surprised with these boots. I was a little skeptical of the boots being imported and that Harley might just be a name without the quality to back it up. I can tell you there's no need to worry. These have already become my daily boot and I will definitely get them again if these ever wear out.

I read all the reviews prior to purchasing these boots so I ordered a 9.5 when I wear a 10 to 10.5 depending on the cut of the shoe.The boot is built of great quality materials leather is rugged but soft pliable. The sole does well on the road, I feel secure when I stop it does not slide or slips it has a good grip on the asphalt.It is winter time so I do not know how hot the boot will feel with the heat of the summer, but so far the foot temperature has been comfortable and there is almost no wind penetration, which is good since it is winter time.I wear long socks so I have not experienced any discomfort on the upper are of the calf areas.The boot is very comfortable, has a narrow neck (I have a wide foot and 18" calf), it is snug to put the boot in, but there is no problem or discomfort.At 1st I thought it would be hard to get them in but once I got the feel for how to put my feet in, there is no problem.I hate to change shoes when I ride, so a comfortable boot that I could walk on all day was inportant!! and this boot is does the job very well. Wear them all day and no foot fatige.If you decide to order these boots, make sure you order a size lower or 1/2 a size lower. As stated earlier on my review I ordered 1/2 lower and they fit perferclty after getting through the somewhat snugg neck.

The boots look nice but I ordered size 12 and they sent 11 1/2. They’re a little tight but I’m hoping they’ll be ok once broken in. This is the second pair of boots I’ve ordered on Amazon and both times they got the size wrong. They sent 8 1/2 the first time so they are at least getting closer.
