Looking at the brushed out colour we have here, the picture here is darker than the applied colour.

Q: Is this paint suitable for work tops

The Kitchen Cupboard Paint has't been designed to be applied to worktops and is not an application we would recommend. A product specifically designed for this type of application should be used.

Q: can I use this to paint over a surface already painted with an oil based eggshell paint?

Yes, it will. Just ensure that the surface has been prepared sufficiently, take the paint back to a sound surface and abrade to give a good key. Then clean the surface with hot soapy water then rinse with fresh warm water to remove detergent and when dry a good wipe with methylated spirit.

Q: Can you use this paint on splashbacks?

The paint may be applied to splashbacks as it is a durable, cleanable paint. The area should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased prior to application then two coats should be applied by brush or roller at a coverage rate of approximately 10m2/L/coat when the surface is dry.
