These are about as inexpensive as these can get for a made in China device. These appear to be NEMA 1 type which means suitable for use in dry location indoors. They do come with an o ring type gasket but I would not use these outdoors. They are plenty bright enough for me, even in a well lit location. There is a white diffuser covering the four individual LEDS under the colored lens cover. I found no need to remove for additional brightness as some say they have needed to do. Lense caps are interchangeable if you choose to change colors later. The series dropping resistors inside the lamp assembly look to be about a 1/4 What size. I didn't measure the resistor value. The screw terminals are equipped with a tab to slide the wire in and tighten. This does require tinning stranded wire to make a good connection. I used 16 Ga. cu. AWG. Be mindful of the wire size you decide to use. I powered mine from 120VAV source and use to indicate utility power and standby power availability from our back-up generator. Two green for utility with two amber being back-up. These fit into a standard 7/8" hole sawed or 1/2" electrical K.O.i

I bought these for panel indicator lamps for use in a 2-stage temp control system for home brewing. Plenty bright and they work great. Just drill a 7/8" dia. hole and install. Would buy again.

Very nice product. Easy to install and strong wire connection terminals which include easy access. Product is bright and emit a good constant light output.

These larger LED pilot lights are about 1" dia, easy to install and hook up (screw terminals) and are BRIGHT.

These lights are very bright even in sunlight. The price is excellent.

Cheap price

I wanted a pilot light inside the garage to tell me if the outside light (not visible from the garage) was on. This lamp fits a standard half-inch KO. I installed it into the switch box and wired the load side of the switch to the lamp. Other side of lamp to neutral. Good brightness (not too bright or dim in dark garage).I didn't give 5 stars because the terminal screws were too light-weight. Hard to make #14 solid wire stay in the lamp assembly. Forget about #12 wire. I thought about using #18 or #20 wire, or even zip cord, which would prob. meet code, since the LED current is only 20mA. But for some reason I didn't.
