really love this great set, elegant and unique.

This is such a lovely chopstick set. I love all soup and dish wear from this line It makes a great presentation on dining table and great to eat out of and use.

I bought two for a gift and purchased two more.

Cute little bowls! Do wish there were bigger ones

This is a well made porcelain bowl, which you'd expect with German engineering. It can be microwaved, thrown in the dishwasher, and it's ready for the next bowl of soup. It appears to be very durable (I've had it about a month now).The top is interesting. The sections are very shallow, so you can't use them for sauce, unless you're going to fill all 3 of them with the same sauce, which I have done. Otherwise, it's useful for toppings, biscuits, or other solids.And while I love the bowl itself, it gets very hot when microwaved, which you'd expect. I just find it a bit odd that there are no handles, or even a lip like most bowls have, to pick up the hot bowl with. I use silicone grip oven mitts to grab it, which isn't a huge deal, but it's a small extra step, and I am lazy, so it's an unappreciated step. As with most soups that get microwaved, I put a paper towel over the top, because I don't trust the lid. And the paper towel works wonderfully, so this doesn't mess up my microwave.Overall, this is a useful, beautiful bowl, with only a few odd design flaws. But I love it nonetheless.

I like the fact that the divided unit sits on the bowl.

These are fine bowls but the notch for chopsticks reduces the volume of the bowl to around 6 oz.They are small bowls.

When it comes to Pho and ramen, it's all about the broth, or so they say.I love this bowl because it's the perfect presentation piece for both of those popular dishes. The broth goes in the bottom and all of the accoutrement on top.The cilantro, bean sprouts, green onion, and other ingredients rest on top of the bowl so that the broth stays nice and hot. After you are seated, the top serves as the serving plate with the embellishments already in each compartment.I love the Villeroy & Boch line of pure white. I mix and match the New Wave with Urban Nature and Flow, and now the Soup Passion line, which includes this Asia Bowl. There are other items in the soup passion line that are also beautiful and functional, but I believe this particular set to be the true standout.Another nice thing about this bowl is that while it is primarily the look and feel for Pho and ramen, it would also be nice for chili. Imagine oyster crackers, cheese, and onions in the top plate.It's so nice to see such a trendsetting and modern design available for the home chef.
