Excellent product. Does exactly what it said it would do.

This was a defective part and they charged me a "re-stocking fee" of over $20.00+. That does not seem very fair to me!!!

Grundfos SKU 595926 Comfort Valve. This came with a water heater I purchased, and is the only thing about the entire install that wasn't user-friendly. Also with no customer support from the manufacturer.This is designed with 1/2 inch male NPT connetions. The threads at each port have a little slot cut into them. If you have faucets or other fixtures that use the far more common 3/8 female compression fittings, the Grundfos SKU 595926 Comfort Valve won't connect without some kind of adapter. I've tried 3 or 4 different 1/2 inch female NPT to 3/8 inch male compression adapters, but they all leak through the slot cut in the threads of the Grundfos SKU 595926 Comfort Valve.Tried calling and chatting with Grundfos, but they're too "elite" to help a customer.

First one lasted a year. Second one lasted about 2 years. Third one lasted 3 1/2 years. Going to buy the one that comes apart for cleaning. About $20. more. Ebay 121711551056. Permanent fix. Think Grundfos made a lot of money on replacements. FS
