Within a month it stopped working. Edit: promptly replaced by the seller
Edit: promptly replaced by the seller, once i brought it to their notice.I had bought this as a spare heater last year. I started using it last month. But within a month the heater has stopped working. The red light that indicates it's on, gets turned on but the heater does not heat up at all. I cleaned it, I turned the dial around. But nothing seemed to help. Can you please me to get it to work?

Working great, with accurate Heating
I got a really nice price so I purchased this when my Cobalt Heater stopped working after a year. It seems for my long 20 gallon I need 150 watt even though the Marineland Chart shows 75 watt for 20 gallons would work. This came preset at 78. I plopped it in, let it sit for 20 minutes, then plugged it in. When I checked my manual thermostat, it read exactly 78 degrees after 6 hours or so. I turned it down 1 degree to 77 because it is winter currently and did not want it running more often. The water looks clearer and maybe that brown algae that started appearing will go away. Only kind of drawback is it is so big and can't touch gravel. It looks like something out of the Borg. And the long side because of weight I guess tends to dip the suction cup down a bit, and I can't keep it perfectly straight. But I was having trouble heating my tank so something this powerful was needed. The temperature on the heater is somewhat hard to read. I think it shows 76 when it should show 77 but that's why I have a backup thermostat in the tank.
