ZOOM 19785424 Training Adapter Switch for Headsets

I purchased this for work and it is working great. It is so easy to use with the Plantronics wireless headsets. We were using an old wired head set that had seen better days. I got on line and looked for something better and found this one. It was perfect. Would recommend it.

I was told "such a thing doesn't exist"... hah! We use it at work now in every station and is a must (until they come up with a fancier highrr tech ones or something)

Purchased these for work based on the recommendation from our Corp IT Help Desk staff. We use similar models of Plantronics headsets ( 510,540, 530). These have proven to be simple to use, and are working out great. This was a nice inexpensive solution for us to connect two headsets for training purposes. A new coordinator can sit with a veteran coordinator and hear how they handle different calls. I only rated these 4 star as we just purchased them a month or so ago, and have just been utilizing the about a week. Our coordinators, with 1 exception, utilize the wireless bluetooth earpieces.

This item is not compatible with Sennheiser Headsets and the Cisco SPA 504 Phones. The connectors are correct but after purchasing I found out that they are not compatible.

We ordered this training adapter for our new Customer Service Representative, who came into our field without any knowledge, to sidejack with other CSRs who all have Plantronics wireless headsets. It was a simple installation. You use the small phone cord that comes with the ZOOM switch at the top end, and connect that to your headset port on the back of the phone. You connect your "A" and "B" wireless headsets to the other end, and push the button down on the ZOOM switch for which set you want to mute. The muted CSR can then listen from their own desk, and practice in our training software while listening to how the call is handled. Great product, and thank you for the rapid delivery!

seems to be cutting the power that goes to the handset so when both listeners are active the sound quality becomes really quiet. It introduces some low static as well. It does the job of letting us train employees on how to handle phone calls, but clarity could be better - however for the price of this unit these are annoyances we're willing to tolerate.

For years we have been thinking that it would great to be able to listen to trainees, but thought that with our (outdated) phone system it wasn't possible- this simple device is perfect for just that. Our training, overnight, became much much better.

This Zoom training adapter works great! The agents were using speaker phone and would get complaints from the caller about feedback and background noise. The trainer loves this adapter. No more customer complaints about feed back or background noise. The sound is clear and crisp, no distortion.
