Was a good price
It’s looks official en just like a box in the room if been waiting to rate it for some time now if purchased it some time ago now. It was easy to install and connect when closed it is quiet but when open you hear the drive. Seems of good quality and functions really well

CCTV Power Supply
Great Product. Beats the heck out of multiple power supplies with piggy tail connectors. Wasn't hard to wire and I appreciate the knockout port options. The only negative was the very small screws to secure the hinged door - easy to lose and maybe a simple cheap latch would have been a better idea. Anyway, thanks.

Quality power box at inexpensive price
This is the second one I have purchased. It works well and the first one i have has lasted over 8 years. I will only purchase these models. I also always recommend to get the one that has more ports than you need, or get two and split up the connections. That way if one fails you always have some cameras that are still working on backup.I always split the connections and have one unit on battery backup just in case of loss of power or someone breaks in and disconnects one box, you always have a backup. Most theives don't look for two boxes if you don't put them in the same spot!

Nice and sturdy. One Plus, One Con. Overall good product.
Just got the product today. Case is nice and sturdy. Everything is mounted in the case in a way to give you lots of space to work and run the cables. I tested the voltage and it came out to 12.55 just as I expected. One big positive: the power supply has a voltage adjustment via a small pot. I've already adjusted the output to 13v to counter the voltage drop I'll have in 200' of cable. It does look exactly like the picture. What you see is what you get.Only wish: that the case had some other way to hold it closed than a screw. Any type of latch would be better. Where it's going to be mounted will not be conducive to the screw closure. I'll have to come up with something else. Maybe I'll put the screw in from the inside and push the side of the case in to "latch" the lid over the screw. Sounds like a plan to me. Yep, works perfectly! One con: The power cord that comes with it is not grounded. The power supply is grounded to the case, but not to the outlet via the cord. I find this just a little disturbing. Again, where it will be mounted will be to wood so the only ground will be through the cameras. Not a good design in my book. I'll be replacing the power cord with a grounded one to fix that issue. Since it's just a couple of screws like everything else, it will be a breeze to do. For the price of the unit, I would have expected a better designed ground. Made in China right on the box.I'll update the review when I put the product into production and let you know how it holds up.UPDATE: Been up and running for 6M with no issues.

Great Power supply for 16 camera system
Excellent power supply. This is worth much more than the 50 bucks I paid... Arrived in perfect condition. This is essentially a standalone power supply with a separate distribution board. The dist. board has its own on/off switch as well as 16 separate channels with power state LEDs and discrete PTC protection. A PTC functions like a fuse/breaker, but resets itself, so you do not have to replace one or reset it if it trips... PTC stands for Polymeric Temperature Coefficient. Which is a fancy way of saying its a plastic sponge filled with carbon particles that expand when the current/temperature is too high. As the temperature increases the sponge-like structure expands, causing the carbon particles to lose connection... after they have lost enough connection they plastic sponge cools and shrinks back together allowing the carbon particles to reconnect. There is a small breakdown in performance the more they "trip" as the material expands easier and shrinks less, so the trip current and hold current drop after each cycle... that said... they should last hundreds if not thousands of trip cycles... If you notice a channel is repeatedly dropping out due to lost power, you should check the line resistance to see if you have a short (rodent chewed the wire, screw through the wall/ceiling) or if the camera is going out... If you catch it in time and fix the problem early enough, this power supply should last forever... The PTC's can be easily replaced with a soldering iron if needed, and they are pretty cheap. The case is as expected with keyhole slot in the back to hang it on the wall... I see no reason to drill any holes in the case, but if you do want to mount through holes other than provide, the dist. board, and power supply can be easily removed to facilitate drilling/deburring/cleaning. Avoid metal shavings getting into the power supply or dist. board...1/2" knock outs (not 1/2" holes) are provided for external wire management, but I just used the wall pass through in the center. (just like security system enclosure)

Very nice unit for the price.
I have been using this unit for about 3 years to power motorized window shades. I wired each shade to separate channels which is adequate for the load. It has worked flawlessly for the entire time. I used this to replace the battery tubes that came with the blinds which require 8 AA Li batteries which only last about 6 months and since 2 of our 4 shades are for the upper windows in a 2 story great room they are difficult to replace. This is also a much cheaper (about 1/5 th the cost) of the power supplies sold by the blind manufacturers. This probably voids the blinds warranty so you have to decide the risk vs cost.

Not disappointed
Security Camera guy wanted $250 for the job. Just found and entered the serial number on Amazon and found this one (exactly what we had) for less than $50. My husband connected the wires and it is functioning properly. Saved $200
