Salinity Test Strips, 0-1000 ppm [Vial of 50 Strips] for Chloride Based Salt Solutions for Science Education

This product is a complete scam. I tested it with distilled water, tap water and sea water and none of the strips changed color.The original manufacturer label was covered by another sticker that obscured the instructions and expiration date.The product was not past the expiration date but still did nothing to detect salt water.

Don’t know how accurate they but they are very easy to use

I wanted to take my level of sodium in my body, as mine is soo low, it is dangerousThis is not helpful to me

Amazon shows this as frequently purchased with Hotsprings Freshwater Test Strips and Spa Salt. However, this Does NOT measure the correct salt range for Hotsprings Spas! It only tests to 1000 ppm and you need 2500 ppm.I wish I hadn’t trusted the advertising. After opening the tube and testing the water, I realized the problem. Total waste of $20 and I’m irritated with Amazon and the seller. If these are truly frequently purchased together then Amazon or the seller is ripping people off.Maybe this is a great product for another use. But I wouldn’t know, as there’s so little information provided by the seller.
