My 4 year old and 18 month old absolutely love this little machine. My 18 month old can sit on the seat but is unable to function the boom or bucket. My 4 year old is taking new clients to dig basements and pools.... the kids will play literally for several hours without stopping on the Cat Excavator. Its very well built and designed. Easy to assemble. The instructions to assemble are by picture, making it very easy.

I love how this product is sturdy and has great safety features. My 2 and 4 year old play so well on it!

Very nice kids excavator that is much much higher quality than any other version out there. Build quality is outstanding, very sturdy, all metal construction, and the thing just looks cool!However there’s one huge design flaw. Another reviewer mentioned the arm locking every time it is pulled back, and that is correct. The safety mechanism is very stiff and difficult for kids to disengage. This safety mechanism is not needed - the arm is already spring assisted to keep it from crashing to the ground. To fix the issue, all you need is a well placed piece of tape to keep the safety from engaging. But at this price, there’s no excuse for such a huge usability oversight.

Instructions are pictures only and poorly done - took 3 days to figure out how to assemble. However, once it was done the child was quite happy with it.

Had been opened &thrown in a box. Missing parts, screws and instructions. Even the box has rejection notices on it.
