This is a great tool for someone with limited mobility - someone who can't stand on their own. They used this in the nursing home for me to transfer from bed to toilet to wheelchair. So I b ought one for when I went home. The board at the nursing home was much thinner and lighter. This board split about 12 inches down the middle so I sent it back. One nice thing about this transfer slide board was the beveled ends that make it easier to slide onto
