Who Knew
It was quiet a fun day trying stuff in the kitchen with this. Guess what this stuff is so useful and better than buying packs of different item when you can make them all from one package Who Knew?

Works great no added sugar
I bought this to make gummy candy. There are a lot of bad reviews for agar agar. The reason this is is that people don't know how to use it. This is not like jello, you cant add it to boiled hot water. It has to be boiled in water to set like cornstarch.

Agar Agar - Wonderful Vegan Thickener
Loved Agar - it’s a wonderful vegan thickener. I purchased it to make balsamic pearls. I’m still experimenting with that. I’ve also used the Agar as a regular thickener. Thinking about using it for coffee jello in lieu of gelatin. Reportedly Agar provides fiber so that’s an added benefit. The presence of Agar is pretty tasteless which makes it pretty versatile.

Good for many uses
I bought this to make a median for growing aquatic plants, but my fish died so didn't do it. I then read that this is good for making gummies, Oh OK I'll do that, but haven't yet. I can use it for many uses and will keep it on hand for when that times comes LOL

Works great as a vegan egg replacement in many recipes.
Being I’m allergic to both beef and eggs, this works great as a beef gelatin or an egg substitute in many recipes. It takes less of this agar agar brand than beef gelatin to achieve the same results. For example, if the recipe calls for a tablespoon of beef gelatin, I only use 2 teaspoons of the agar agar powder (so, 1/3 less).Hope this review helps someone who’s looking for vegan alternatives or has food allergies/sensitivities! I follow the AIP diet, and am having good results getting my auto-immune condition in remission after several years of agonizing pain and exhaustion.

NOT GOOD FOR VEGAN CHEESE
Sadly this is not available for return. I was not successful in making my vegan cheese. So im going back the other brand I've using for years.
