Le Creuset Stoneware Egg Cup, 2", 1 EA, Cherry

Cute Cute Cute. Cheaper than a china/eggshell china type & sturdier & dishwasher safe too! LOVE the red,got 4 of them. Grew up eating soft-boiled eggs & now that chickens are laying, will be eating more!TRY THIS SIMPLE RECIPE I LOVE TO SPOON INTO/OVER SOFT BOILED: 1/4 STICK UNSALTED BUTTER, 1 TBSP Fresh LEMON JUICE, 2 TSP DILL WEED (I use dried) Melt in covered container inmicrowave (I use Med-Med High Heat in 1100w Microwave for 2min 30 sec, so butter melts but doesn'tseparate) (I use cold butter) enough for 4 eggs depending on how much you like it! So fresh & lemony & perfect on eggs. I use Unsalted Butter, no salt either, but you could add red or black pepper to taste for abit of heat if you like. I don't seem to miss the salt or pepper with the dill weed in it. Hope you enjoy! Oh, I make my soft boiled eggs in my Egg Dash cooker (also from Amazon) (just ordered an egg dash cooker for my son's birthday next month---will include my recipe for my Fancy Bacon Deviled Eggs that Everyone we know Loves when it comes in. Yeah Yeah I know, I write more than I planned on, I'm not half Irish for nothing & the result of two years typing in high school---I should be getting paid for some of my reviews. LOL

I know, I know... these are not made in France like the enameled cast-iron pots and pans we love so much. However, they are designed with a small enough cup to actually hold a large or extra large egg without wobbling around. Plain and simple, it does its job right. For some reason everyone loves to make egg cups way too big.Also pictured - If you are in the market for an extremely elegant and perfectly sized eggs spoon, I love the imeea spoons I ordered. They have a streamline design with no deep, crummy looking made-in-china stamp on the back. They also are perfect for stirring coffee. My set of six spoons came in a nice little pouch that makes bringing them out feel like a special occasion.

I didn’t know anything about the brand name when I bought a pair of these. I was in the mood for a couple of egg cups for my soldiers and really liked the look of these.The finish is exquisite. Deep, textured and an almost 3D effect. Nice heft to them, they don’t shift around on one’s serving tray at all.I’ve been happy with them and as a result I’m likely to purchase more Le Cruset items in the future.

We used to have a set of egg cups... got them 40 some years ago. One is left, and it's chipped. I recently started having two soft boiled eggs for breakfast. I bought a set that was inexpensive, and was so because they were cheap molded plastic... and too small for my Extra Large Costco eggs. The Le Creuset Egg Cups, in contrast, are great. They are heavy enough so that you know you have something real that will last, They also fit Extral Large eggs perfectly. I bought an egg topper and egg spoons,,neither of which I've ever had before. Now I treat myself to a civilized looking breakfast with toast cut into solders, perfectly topped eggs, in egg cups that will be around for a long time.

I received the order of this little egg cup in only a few days. It is as handsome as the photograph shows on line, But there was a half-inch chip at the base. The item was well wrapped in wound brown paper, and there was no fragment in the box: the little cup was not chipped in shipping but was shipped to me with the chip already on it. Bad quality control. When I complained, however, the company told me to keep the cup and sent me another fully intact. This is the good part. Had the company sent me the little cup unchipped in the first place, I would have given the item five stars.

My favorite egg cup. Holds up to extra large eggs securely, dishwasher safe, lovely colors. What can one say about egg cups lol, except I have tried several different ones and I like this one the best.

Very sturdy, colorful and well made. Perhaps just a tad too wide for a large egg.

Any egg cup will hold the egg. I want my meals to be beautiful as well as satisfying and these egg cups are beautiful and make my presentation just perfect. They are made of the best quality ceramic and the red color is just what I expected.
