This is one solid piece of kit for the price.
Well, I'm impressed. After the couple of poor reviews here I was a tad worried. All I relate to here is MY experience. So...............The rack was extremely WELL PACKAGED in really DURABLE cardboard, and very well reinforced. The instructions for assembly were simple and easy. Everything was labeled, but it really was more info than was likely needed. Every single screw to assemble the unit went in appropriately as threaded. (The one front rack panel I've put in as well.) There are a lot of screws... didn't count to see if there are enough to do all the rack spaces.... but it looks like it. The wheels roll nicely, and they lock too.Overall the "feel" of the rack unit is solid and professional. It'd fit in any studio and not be out of place. The only issue I had was with the SHIPPING company... and it was UPS losing it in transit and the arrival delayed by a few days. Annoying... but not the selling company's fault.

Robust, sturdy, well-built, EASY assembly, PERFECT.
Really well built, e-z instructions, ONE-tool assembly, very good lockable wheels, perfectly-aligned screw holes. This unit is DOUBLE sided!! You can mount twice the (available space) units. It has rackmount rails on both sides/front-and-back.Best value and quality, plus a full-sized, huge top -shelf (for any big piece of gear.Highly recommended.

nice, sturdy,
all is greatly, a very sturdy piece of kit! would recommend for in house and NOT touring. only issue is “not standard rack screws” that would normally be suppued , say with audio gear (audio compression/mic pre, audio interface etc…) so if using to place existing gear, then you might need to change all the screws (not enough supplied with racks) would give 5 star if it had used standard size screws or included actual screw type/dimensions

Door good, but weak and flimsy hinge with tiny screws, difficult to mount
Great door; great fit, strong, heavy. Comes with strong pillars that should be included on all the racks; they really do reinforce the frame of the rack well. But: The pillars (steel channel) are hard to install, requiring a flashlight and a magnetic screwdriver to very carefully align through an outside hole in the channel. And there are only four screws holding them, which is probably not enough. The channels don't seem to be reversible; the holes don't seem to align when you swap them which means that the doors will only open right to left, with the hinge on the left, and are not reversible. That could have been better thought out, but it's okay and workable.Cons: poor, thin, cheap hinge, tiny little screws, not enough strength at all. Like the hinges were some cheapo afterthoughts not considered in the design. So, to mount them, you'll have to have two people, one to carefully hold the door up while another tries to align the micro-sized screws in the front pillar. A huge improvement would be to have "lift off" hinges that are solidly fixed to the frame so that the door can be lifted off when unlocked and opened. The lock is "meh," and in both of these that I purchased, the lock hole is oversized, causing slop in the assembly when you tighten the lock mounting nut.

Good stuff, excellent price and easy to put together
Went together without a hitch and carries a full load of outboard stuff in a convenient roll about. Screws all fit, pieces met without fiddling around. Best part is the amount of room at the rear of this unit; a place for power distribution and cabling without having to bundle and jam.

NOT STANDARD RACK SCREW HOLES
This would be an amazing racker the price. However, the holes are not standard. You'll need to use the supplied screws ONLY and you'll have to source more than they send. They don't send enough to fill up the rack. Disappointing for a company that literally has the word "Sound" in their name...clearly they know there is a common screw size for ALL other racks.
