The pack of 2 is a great value, ensuring I always have a backup on hand. The quality is consistently excellent, with each star anise delivering a robust and delightful flavor. I was unable to find whole Star Anise anywhere locally, so Amazon came to my rescue. I compared all of the options here, and decided on this one due to value for money. I bought the 2 pack, which arrived quickly and in good condition. I checked their condition when I opened one of the containers, and am happy to report that they are mostly intact whole stars. They have a nice aroma with a licorice scent to them. They were exactly what I was looking for. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat, though I now have enough to last the rest of my life.

We use this spice for mixed drinks. Mixed with Licor 43 Blanco recipe. Gives just the right hint of licorice yum!

I like many people were searching for stars that would arrive intact. Complete stars work best for my needs than the little broken bits. With the ridged plastic containers they weren't exposed to damage in the shipping process. So most of the stars were all complete. The quality of the star anise was great. The aroma and taste were as expected. It will take me a while to get through 2 containers, but when I run out I would buy these again.

It's very fragrant and the surprise is the flavour and smell of a reused bit can be even better the next day. I guess it may be because it ferments a bit or something, but whatever it is I am reusing it with great pleasure.

The product is very well packaged, star anise are full, clean and fresh. Great for cooking. This is one of the best star anise I have ever bought. Will definitely purchase it again!
