Christmas Cookies - really!
I have a recipe from Germany for Printen Christmas cookies. It calls for potash, which is potassium carbonate. My friend and I searched every specialty store in the Tampa Bay area and finally found this on Amazon. I don't know how the entire recipe will come out, but it will be a fun experiment. Thank you for providing the one ingredient we couldn't fine readily.

Works on reducing aphid population on milkweed
I was informed watering milkweed with this will reduce the amount of aphids and boy did it work. The aphid population died down a week after watering.

Do not buy this product
First usage I spit it directly out of my mouth. I have no idea what it is. The consistency looks like dishwasher soap. The taste will make you vomit. I am investigating who I can send a sample to in my state government to test it. I literally have no idea what's in the bag I got. I'd give a zero if I could.

False an potential dangerous labeling
I'm giving this 1 star for false, and potentially dangerous information on the package. It says "Rich in calcium & easily absorbed". There is zero calcium in Potassium Carbonate and it is not something you want to be consuming in a way to "easily absorb" it. It also says "Helps reduce stomach acidity". It certainly would do that if you consumed it, but it is very strongly alkaline and would be dangerous to consume. I assume this part of the label was mistakenly copied from another product, Calcium carbonate perhaps. But Potassium Carbonate is moderately hazardous, they should certainly be more careful that to put things on the label that might lead someone to consume it.
