Cook Zen MWC1 (japan import) by Skater

The recipe booklet is bilingual. The basic instruction booklet included with the pot is Japanese only. I have no idea how to use this. Update: Someone at our local Japanese market kindly translated the relevant parts of the instruction booklet. The key piece of information is to leave the steam holes open when cooking rice. They should be left in the closed position when cooking anything else. The Cook Zen itself is terrific and produces delicious meals in minutes.

I absolutely adore this tool. I have learned to streamline my cooking after three kids came along but this takes it to a whole new dimension, it’s a paradigm shift on a matrix-level. No idea of Neo would like the dishes I make with the cookbooks (I highly recommend you get the Cook Zen cookbooks available here on amazon) but my Husband is Japanese, we have teenagers and a toddler and I can easily make a meal that delights everyone in less than the time it takes to agree on a pizza order. I LOVE the japanese simplicity of the recipes, they highlight the ingredients’ natural flavor and are aesthetically pleasing. Some people are complaining they bought the cookbook not knowing that you needed the Cook Zen Microwave cooking pot but it is worth buying the Cook Zen if you find you overlooked that somehow and got the recipe book first. If you want to try this beforehand investing in the cool books, just try the simple recipes included with the pot! Highly highly recommend. I use mine at least two meals a day.

It is a microwave cook pot. Just put the food with little sauce in the pot covered with the lip and cover. Only few minutes the food is done. Not dry up but moist. Good taste. You can cook rice too.

No instruction in English!!

This pot, in combination with the cook-zen cookbook specific to the pot, gets strong points for ease of use and tasty results. While microwaved food lacks subtleness of taste the foods I've cooked using this have all made me happy. Vegetables cook in 3-4 minutes leaving a bit of crunch and bright colors to tease the taster. I've cooked chicken, tofu, and lots of different vegetables with great results and can recommend adding this to your kitchen. It cleans up quickly, doesn't take up much space, is straightforward in ease of use, and is small enough to go in the smallest of microwave ovens. Overall, a great buy.

This is my second (first for my home, and this is for my other kitchen). The material is very clean and durable, it's made so nicely the lid closes like a precision machinery. It closes tight so you don't need to worry about spilling or burning your hand handling it (but be careful when you open the lid after cooking, steam can be very hot). Cookbook comes in handy too. I hope they make a larger size since this one probably cooks 4-6 servings of side dishes and sometimes i need to cook twice. Still, this is a very handy cookware for your kitchen.

I own three of the Cook Zen microwave appliances. BUT, it is the cookbooks by Machiko Chiba that make Cook Zen work so well. Owning the Cook Zen is the way to appreciated all of the uses of microwaves beyond reheating food, warming coffee, and boiling water. Some day I’ll own an even number.

The material is of high quality with great attention to details. It's simple to use. A perfect companion to the book "The Cook-Zen Cookbook" by Machiko Chiba. Am pleased with the purchase. Also grateful the pot was still available and sold through Amazon.

電子レンジで簡単調理可能　白色は経年変化で中が茶色になってくる

ほぼ毎日使ってます。枝豆、じゃがいも等茹でずに出来るので美味しいです。15年ほど使ってますが、これが3個目です。買って良かったと友人達にも喜ばれています。

一人暮らしなのですが本当に重宝してます！ロカボで鍋多めなのですが100円ぐらいで売ってる野菜と適当な肉で簡単に鍋ができます。皿に移しかえる必要もなく残ったスープもそのまま冷蔵庫保管で次の日も使えるます。煮込みで600w１０分ぐらいなのでもう手放せなくなりそう。。。

妻に先立たれ毎日の食事が今まで同じ様な物ばかり食べていたのが、これに出会って毎日レシピ等参考にしながら色々と挑戦する様になり食事が楽しくなりました、少し不満は圧力が足らない様な気がしています？

煮物をつくるのに使っています。すぐ料理が出来上がりますので助かっています。
