Strong Chair for Bigger People, and Very Comfortable.
Ordered this for the added support for larger people. I weigh in at 320, and my previous chair failed after 2 years and broke. This chair does a wonderful job of holding a bigger guy. The chair is actually wider than I thought, and for me, I am not a wide guy. I carry my extra weight in my belly, but no other place on my body and as a result, the chair is actually wider than I am and thus the arm rests are pushed all the way in on the chair to fit me better. The arm rests are the only weak part of the chair but not enough to ruin the chair and not recommend it to bigger users. They wobble sure, and make a bit of noise due to the design of the arm rests. They are metal with a plastic housing over the metal arm rests that attach to the underside of the chair. It literally is the only issue with the chair design. I used a bit of rubber or padding to shove up under the housing to stop the wobble and plastic noise once I found the right height setting.Comfort is great, although I noticed the padding on the chair for your butt does tend to feel lighter than I expected, it has not been uncomfortable during long sessions of sitting in this chair. Depending on your weight you may or may not feel the harder seat under the padding over time of use. I have tried to see if I can feel it, but I have to press with my hand hard to even notice the harder chair itself under the padding.I have found that if you are sensitive to textured cloth, go with the leather/fake leather smooth option instead. I like the textured cloth better personally, but do notice that on longer sessions gaming, my legs on the underside, if wearing shorts, right above the back of your knee can get irritated slightly with the texture pushing into your skin and leaving impressions. Wearing pants stops this, and its a personal thing I noticed, and not an issue with the chair. my work chairs do this as well, and many chairs using any type of cloth with a texture will do this, so its not specific to this brand of chair, just an observation to share. If you do not like that happening to you, get the smoother leather version of this chair.Structure is very strong. I have not noticed any leaning, or bending of the chair parts over use. I tend to sit slightly tilted to one side, its a bad habit yes, but one that stresses the chairs I use on their lateral strength. This chair holds up strong, and does not bend or tilt, and that is wonderful.Sturdy, wide, comfortable, strong, and perfectly designed to hold the bigger users better than regular chairs.I thought about a racing chair, but due to costs of bigger versions of those brands of chairs, this is a much better buy for your money.

Terrible. Barely lasted 9 months
UPDATE 9/9/2014: Barely 9 months with this chair and I hate it. The rickety armrests need to be adjusted several times a day. The chair is permanently locked in the non-reclining position and will not recline at all. The lever mechanism is totally jacked up and does nothing. If anything if feels like the chair is pushing me forward out of the chair. The fake leather material is coming apart at the stitching and it still smells like chemicals.Below is my original review from DEC 2013Time will tell how well the chair holds up but it seems to be a sturdy oversize chair that is very comfortable. I was able to put it together in about 45 minutes. There were about 6 steps total and were very simple. It didn't look simple but it was. All of the hardware and a hex wrench necessary to assemble the chair were included. The first thing I noticed was the metal construction. Hopefully this will lead to a chair that lasts many years. The chair does have a strong chemical odor to it as many new things do but hopefully that will dissipate quickly (if not I'll update). As mentioned in other reviews the armrests have a bit of play in them. It seems like this may be the trade off to make them adjustable (up, down, outward, and inward). They can be adjusted up/down with push button on each arm wrest and adjusted outward and inward to make them wider or more narrow with large hand knobs under the seat. I don't really notice the extra play in the arm wrests unless I'm intentionally messing with them. When simply using them as an arm wrest they don't seem to move at all unless I try to make them move so its sort of a non-issue for me. The chair looks really nice and if very comfy. I'm right at 6' tall and even though a standard chair will accommodate me this is the first chair I've had that I can lean back in and let my head rest back without propping it up with pillows. The chair is a few inches taller overall from base to seat even at its lowest setting so this will take a little getting used to. I like to slouch way down in a chair and this one sort of forces me to use proper posture and perhaps most importantly brings my wrists up to a proper level with the desk and keyboard. I'm happy with the chair and so long as the chemical smell goes away soon and it lasts many years will continue to be happy with it.
