not a great cane, but good to have seating.
I'm glad I had this to be able to briefly sit as needed, but not as great as a cane for walking. Will work, but wouldn't use it for walking unless I anticipated needing to rest intermittently.

Great as a cane and chair for POTS patient!
Bought twice because it works very well. One for the house and the other for the car. POTs patients have problems standing still without getting dizzy. If they can sit then they are fine. She can take this out anywhere and it solves the problem. It doesn't fall over either when sitting. Great when using to checkout at a store, doctor's appointments, and any other time when standing in line. Buy extra leg tips because they do wear out after being used daily. Would definitely buy again. Well worth the money.

Very disappointed in this product
I am a big fan of Drive Medical products and own numerous such assistive devices. Mostly I love Drive products but not this one. It is a huge disappointment. First of all it is VERY uncomfortable with the seating area being but a narrow strip. It is uncomfortable (very much so) whether you straddle it or whether you simply sit on it as it it were a bench. Neither option is satisfactory.A much better solution would be to use your favorite ordinary cane along with a folding camp stool, as in this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R1LWCK2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1I love this folding stool and I hang it over the handles of my rolling suitcase with - the type with the extendable handle. The stool is super-light weight and much more comfortable. So is an ordinary cane which you likely already have. This cane is very awkward to use.Now if you are planning to use this cane in some setting where you will not have your rolling suitcase - say for simply waiting in line or for taking a walk and needing to periodically rest - I still do not recommend this product. If you don't have your suitcase, I would recommend carrying a tote or a back pack and stashing the collapsible stool into one of those two items. Again, this option will be much more comfortable for you. This product provides you with but a narrow strip and nothing you would want to sit on. If you absolutely want a cane with a built in seat then I would recommend this product for you albeit it is more expensive. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B4DPS8DT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1The seat provided with this product, while not the most comfortable seat in the world, is much better than what you will get with this Drive collapsible cane. In the case of the product I linked to above, you get an excellent cane - very sturdy and comfortable to use - and a seat which will suffice in a pinch. You don't get any of that with the Drive cane. Apparently the ladies who get "bootie surgery" i.e. surgery to increase the size of their buttocks love the Drive cane. For them, it is a Godsend but for everyone else, not so much.If you are someone who likes to walk but needs frequent rests may I strongly recommend you get a Drive rollator. Now you get support and total comfort whenever you need to sit down and rest. Buy the better model (the one where the brake cables are built into the frame) and you will be able to go absolutely everywhere you want including some hiking trails. Here is the one I bought and it is literally the best thing since sliced bread. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B4DPS8DT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Very Comfy Seat
Light, comfortable folding seat, very comfortable. Now, it isn’t exactly a perfect seat cane, but it does fold up well and is very light. You won’t want to take it with you on a fifty mile hike, but for parades, sporting events or demonstrations, it’s very good.
