Batteries were as described and seem to work OK.
These were used as a replacement for a "no longer available" battery in a radio transmitting device. They are constantly charged and only furnish power in a power outage. Equipment manufacturer said no longer available then gave me a price of over $150 for 2 batteries. I clipped the plug and soldered the wires on mounting was via 2 sided tape. Works great and made boss very happy. Saved over $130 over OEM parts.

Note for CC Solar Observer Owners Considering These
My Solar Observer was purchase at least 7 years ago, and the 2/3AA 3.6V 650mAH rechargeable battery has a different type of connector than these Kastar ones do (JST connector on the original). I've searched everywhere and the only place selling this battery with the correct connector is C.Crane, and I'm not paying $13 for one battery from them. Better off using 3x AA rechargeable batteries when not able to use the AC/DC adapter (Alkaline if I'm desperate). I'm posting this so that, if a person purchasing these isn't familiar with splicing wires, this may be an issue. I am cutting the connector and 1+ inch of lead wire off of an old battery pack and splicing it onto one of these new ones. I've done this sort of thing before, and my beat-up old radio has a broken hand crank, so if I kill it, will have an excuse to replace it.

Gave my old house phone extended life
It's been 3 months and thus far the batteries are fine. Only time will tell about longevity.
