My purchase was to use this to convert the slant mixer top of my new rack ( Seismic Audio - SAMRWT-16U - 16 Space Rack Case with 10 Space Slant Mixer Top and DJ Work Table - PA/DJ Pro Audio Road Case - 16U ) into a place to set my Ableton Push 2.It works as I expected and if I chose to change things around, I am sure the spacer will fill another role well. Nicely made. Good quality materials. Ample ventilation for large case/rack designs. Sturdy. May need alternative screws depending on thread size of your rack uprights. Works great when used in conjunction with a fan rack faceplate.
