Skill Saw to cut .040 alumunim sheet metal
I was reluctant to try cutting the aluminum sheets for my enclosed trailer project using a saw blade. The sheets were .040 aluminum. I thought I would have to find someone with a actual metal shear in order to get a clean cut. After some hesitation, I purchased this blade and did a test cut using a standard skill saw. I was amazed at how easily and clean it cut the aluminum sheet. I did sprayed a small line of penetrating oil along the cut line and didn't rush the saw, but also did not have to go nearly as slow as I thought. Very happy with the results.

Worked great!
I bought this blade to make a 32' long cut in the siding of my metal building. It work fabulously. It cut the metal ribbed siding effortlessly. It did throw a spray of sparks so make sure you wear full coverage eye protection, hearing protection and long sleeves. I also had a spotter to make sure I didn't catch anything on fire inside the building. In the past I have used an old wood cutting blade both forward and backward. This worked so much better. The cut was super clean with no denting or tearing. I couldn't be happier.

Installed on evolution circular saw and easily cut through 1/4” plate. Very high quality and should last a long time with proper use.

Smoothes cuts I have found
We use these to cut thin aluminum and sheet metal (1/16, 3/32). This blade delivers considerably better and smoother cuts than other blades we have tried.

Hard to find another method of easily cutting metal
works well, expensive, dulls much quicker than expected. Hard to find another method of easily cutting metal. Superior to grinding blades in every possible way. If you have painted steel, or steel you want cut clean and neat buy this blade now. If you can deal with burrs and ''clean cut'' isn't very important buy a grinding blade you can buy like 30+ of them for the price of this one blade.Used specifically on 29 gauge painted steel roofing to cut angles. Leaves virtually no burrs (about as much a hand snips) does not heat and ''cuts'' thin metal like wood. Sparks when hitting the ribs, but very limited.
