I am very disappointed with the manufacture of this item. This is not an upgrade over the other type I have used and love. They made it to work with small diameter handles such as a broom or mop handle. It is NOT accommodating to the kind of tool I intended to store on it.I am an engineer and inventive so I spent one to two hours retrofitting it to accommodate the handles of shovels, rakes, hoes and other larger diameter handles (the reason for buying this two pack). My retrofit was not within the capabilities of the average person.I would request that Amazon censure the advertisement that erroneously says it is for shovels, rakes, etc. This is fraudulent advertising! I could have sent this back based on this fraud but decided to cut the inner bumper down to half the height so that larger handle items would work with it.I would not recommend that anybody buy this for anything other than smaller diameter handles like brooms and mops since it is made to exactly fit that diameter.I would not buy this item again and would not have bought it if they would have clearly stated that it is NOT for large handle items. A shovel handle will just barely fit into it and does not go in far enough to give me a feeling of safety.

I bought several other brands of these and had to return them because they all were too hard to push on and pull out. This is so easy to push on and pull off yet stays and holds excellent. Holds both my large wood push brooms and also my smaller little swiffle type brooms. I nailed a board on through studs first then put this on securely. Love it!

Okay, they just hold utilitarian items, but, the amazing thing is…I hung them myself. I’m a 71 year old lady that hires a handyman for everything. I figured, drill 8 holes (I bought two), pop in the plastic things, and screw them in, how hard can It be? The first one took under ten minutes. The second took a bit longer because I broke out into a chorus of “I Am Woman”.Jeff Bezos was in outer space for three minutes? Ha! I hung my holder things. At least equal footing, I’d say.

I purchased this 3 months ago after looking for a wall mount with an adhesive option. I have a newly built home and didn’t want to put any holes in the garage like I previously did while trying to use another product that failed miserably! Upon opening the box I was quite please with the weight of the stainless steel. Very sturdy and seems like it’s well made. The adhesive strips are 3M! I’ve been using this item now for 3 months and I have a ton of heavy items on it. 2 Bissell mops ,2 twist mops, 1 broom, stick dust pans and several quickie dust mops ( not shown in the picture that day) . I purchased 2 to make it 1 long extended strip. I highly recommend this product and would definitely purchase it again if needed.
