I have plenty of guitar instructional books. This one does what I had long wished someone would do and that's analyze every note in a solo. There are great licks in here, but most importantly for me, my dream came true. The solos are broken down and the thoughts that the masters might have been thinking (many based in part on interviews combined with the experience of the authors). Indepth explanations of which scale or arpeggios may have been utilized, which intervals targeted, and any rhythmic devices used are given.The books in these Fundamental Changes Series are taking away all my excuses for not growing as a guitarist. This book, especially does this. It's all there, especially if you have some prior knowledge of music theory or a really good ear.
