These bifocals are crystal clear indoors and dark as night outside in the sun. The upper is non prescription and lower bifocals are whatever strength you choose. I used to have to take off my reader to put on sun glasses and vise versa, but now I put these on and they say on all day, no more carrying two or more pair of glasses around. I ride a motorcycle as well so these are great for keeping the sun out of my eyes and blocking the wind. They hug my face perfectly so I never have to worry about them sliding down my nose and constantly having to push the back up into place. As I stated these are absolutely perfect....

I bought two styles from this same company and other than looks were very equivalent. The glasses look nice. While the frames felt somewhat flimsy, they are light weight. The lenses are as advertised. They did turn dark in sunlight, not quite as dark as is suggested by their pictures, but they did change. The top area of the lens is clear with no distortion and I can see equally well with the glasses on or off. There is a very distinct blurry section between the clear and magnified area. Having never worn regular bifocals before, I don't know if this was any better or worse. The magnified area is not easily seen, so when wearing them, other people probably won't notice that they are bifocals. For me I think these will work fine for around the house or driving to see at a distance and also see the dash or my phone.

As my eyes age I was in need for a pair of readers / sunglasses. I didn't want to have to keep switching glasses so purchased these. I'm new to using bifocals so I'm trying to get used to them. The transition part is what I'm trying to get used to, just a matter of getting my eyes trained. The bifocals work as they should and they do darken quickly. They do not get super dark like sunglasses but they do darken enough to help in the sun. The glasses look great and fit nice.

Unusable. If you wear the glasses normally, the magnification section is so tiny you have to break your neck by raising your head to the ceiling to see through the mag section. The frames are awesome but don't waste your time. These frames paired with lenses that had a big mag section might be perfect. It's obvious that there is absolutely no quality control in this company. No-one that works for this company has ever put a pair of these readers on. Can't comment on photochromics. They never saw sunlight. I tried to read with them and use them at my computer for 5 minutes. At 5 minutes and 4 seconds, they hit the bottom of my trash bin.

Overall these are what I expected for the cost. The clear with magnification is what I was looking for. Would have been a bonus if these darkened up more and in gray rather than purple. These photos were taken after the sunglasses sat in direct sunlight for 15 minutes. Definitely not at all like the product photo. represents.Overall I'm happy with the 0 magnification on top and the magnification at the bottom. No visible sign from the front. Exactly what I needed.The case is actually nice. Sturdy enough to protect the glasses.Overall quality of the glasses is what should be expected from this price range. There are no flex hinges. But should last quite a long time if you are careful handling them.

Respectable product but a lense popped out on me after 4 months.
