I got this to use on my sliding closet doors. I have 3 cats and one had figured out how to open them and then all 3 play in there and everything ends up on the floor and hairy. These were easy to install and work. Oreo did spend a significant time pounding on the closet door before she realized she couldn't open it anymore. I find it really easy to use.

This door lock was very easy to install - just clean the surface, remove the sticky's covering, and stick it into place. Operating the lock is straightforward and simple. The only snag I've had with it is a single instance of the lock getting stuck on the door while the door was open. Somehow after opening the sliding door the lock "unfolded" a tiny amount, just enough to get caught on the open door, preventing the door from shutting. Using a butter knife to squeeze between the doors to re-flatten the lock worked. It has not happened again, so I think this may have been my own error by not fully flattening the lock before opening the door. Otherwise, very satisfied.As far as the seller goes - they have been excellent about reaching out to me asking if there are any questions or concerns proactively, so customer service is definitely 5 stars!

We had custom sliding closet doors installed in our master bedroom. You could blow on them and they would slide open or closed. Very nice, quiet, well balanced. Life was good! Right up until our two cats realized they could effortlessly open them and go in and sleep. We immediately had a problem with cat hair on everything. We looked at several options and decided to try these. They were shipped rapidly, were super easy to place on the doors and they work like a charm. They aren't very noticeable since both the locks and doors are white. We did elect to install them with command strip adhesive instead of the 3M tape that came with them so removal will be easy when the time comes. We would have used the supplied 3M tape if we were child proofing but since we just needed them for the cats we really didn't need anything that strong.

I like this product so far. I have two big sliding doors that lead out to a pool in my backyard. The pool has a “child proof” fence around it that my 5 year old figured out how to get into. He is a great swimmer but it is still scary knowing he can get into it. I also have an alarm system that alerts me to when the door is open but if I’m showering I can’t hear it. So I got these so that the kids couldn’t get out at all unless I let them out. They have done a great job keeping them in so far. The only issue I have is with the rubber backing. I’ve only had the product for a couple of weeks and the runner has already worn. I went outside one day and shut the door behind me and found myself locked out. I had to go around to the front and open the door. Good thing I have a digital lock on my front door or I would have been locked out of my house. The rubber on the back ended up getting crincled up and when I shut the door it pulled the lock with it and locked he door a As I shut it. For a minute I stood outside thinking someone was in my home and had locked me out. Lol. Good thing it was just the rubber and not someone in the house. Other than that the product is great. I guess being locked out is better then the rubber piece failing and allowing the door to open. I believe it became loose and crinkled form opening and closing the door. Anyway I’ve been using it without that rubber piece on and it is still doing its job. I would have given five stars if it weren’t for that.

I LOVE IT!!!!! Seriously amazing. And a lifesaver. Not to mention my sanity. My kids have taken it upon themselves to NOT nap anymore and instead open their closet and tear their bins of toys out. They're stacked in there and the last thing I needed was bins falling on their heads! 😕I did appreciate the instructions, easy and simple, although it did take a minute to figure out how it worked, perhaps a better picture of it mounted on closet in diagram? Popped the lock into place and then it made sense. And it would be nice if it more clicked/locked into place, Like a buckle. Although it really truly does click into place and stay where it should (holding the door closed against my 4 & 2 yr old). I was just thinking more of a more inforced type lock.It works great/amazing/perfect and the boys haven't been able to open their door since. Seriously, genius idea. Thank you so much. Worth the $10 and I loved that there are 2 of them, and that i don't need to worry about my boys getting hurt trying to reach a toy bin up high!!! Thank you so much !-Kimberly

I've had the same lock for 6 years and 2 kids. I still use it regularly.

Grandaughter (2yr) figured out how to open sliding doors this product works perfectly.Easy to apply up higher than she can reach and easy to unlatch.Less worry lines for me.

They do the job. Every now and then if you try to slide a door open it blocks the door, as it should, but then it’s knocked out so you can then slide the door. Not been a problem yet but just means the product isn’t perfect.

Great for keeping mirrored doors locked shut in my toddlers room. Easy to apply and easy to use.

Works awesome, the lock on our door is broken so this keeps my toddler from opening it all day!

Bought for patio doors at our holiday home where there's a pool a matter of feet away. Felt a little flimsy at first but they absolutely did the job. Easy to use too.
