If you're looking for a nice sturdy play yard without all the extras, this is it.
This is a cute play yard for when you just want the main yard and not all the extras, like a bassinet and such. It doesn't come with accessories, toys or any of the extras. It's just the play yard, the mat for the inside and the nylon case to keep it in and that's exactly what I was looking for.The mat is nicely cushioned and fits inside well. I was able to set up the play yard easily without struggling to get the sides locked into place. The feet on the bottom are wide circles, so the play yard feels stable. And everything folds down easily and wraps up together to go back into its case.If you're looking for just the basics without extras, this is it. Well made and simple design.

Great for older babies! Very sturdy and well made
In the past, I have always just had the Graco brand of Pack-n-Play because they are sturdy and well made. I wasn't sure about trying a different brand, but I LOVE this one! It is very heavy duty, so it's a bit heavy to travel with, but it's so solid. It is easy to set up and works very well. The mattress takes normal pack-n-play sized sheets. The mattress is set nice and low, so this one is best for older babies, maybe who can stand/sit up because it's quite a bend to get down there. The side panels are nice mesh and very sturdy. They are easy to wipe clean and folding back up when you're down is simple as well. Overall, it's great!

The best way to describe this is to compare it with the Graco pack n play.
I have used this and the Graco pack n play (for years) and I think I have a clear idea of which one stands out. Here goes:Price:Ingenuity - Retails for $69 here.Graco - Retails for $40-$65 depending on seller (I'm talking about just the playpen, not the whole set that comes with it)Size:I don't have the exact measurements of either, but I feel like this one is slightly bigger than Graco. Just a tad.Weight:I think they are both supposed to be the same weight but this "feels" heavier than Graco. The outer carrying case:Absolute garbage. You might as well carry the crib in a trash bag. The Graco one is a thousand times better. This one has no handle and doesn't even close properly from the top. If you're a parent and you know how precious those extra minutes can be then be prepared to get frustrated over this. I don't know who thought this was a good idea, but they really need to add a handle to the bag.The frame:Very similar to Graco. The inner mattress:Very similar thickness and material to Graco.Mobility:This one does not have wheels. The Graco crib has wheels on one side for easy moving.Setting up/packing up: Both cribs are very similar in this regard, the process is exactly the same. However there's a slight difference when packing it up. The Ingenuity crib has a bigger and better button that you press to collapse the frame whereas in the Graco crib you gotta push into the sides real hard. Sometimes it might take a couple extra seconds.Even though that being said I do feel like the Graco crib is more "intuitive" when it comes to packing it up. Its like every leg knows where to go. On the other hand with Ingenuity you gotta be careful and arrange the legs yourself at times if it doesn't go through. Here comes the bigger difference, its minor but its a big one.In the Graco crib, the top part is padded, if your baby/toddler bumps their head against the frame they wouldn't injure themselves, but with this there's nothing, its just a metal frame with a cloth on it. My son is old enough (14m) to understand that but I know he wouldn't if he were younger. It seems like the Graco one seems safer in that case.Other than that all the details are very similar, the mesh sides & the adorable color.I got this hoping we could use it for our upcoming travel but the outer case not being user friendly really turns me off. I'll still use it, nevertheless I do miss my Graco crib.

Nice budget playpen
This is a great value playard, easy to set up, no frills, bells or whistles, but it's sturdy enough, folds small for transporting, and is great for traveling. Since it's one of those baby items that aren't used for long, it's a good way to save some money on an item that you might not use much.
