Meyer FHK45054 Receiver Hitch Extension with 4" Drop/Rise, Black

Very solid construction. Used this to lower my hitch point as my truck is raised. I then attached another adjustable hitch with ball to bring the tow point low enough for my < 2000 lb trailer I use to make yard waste dumps.

I bought this to use with a receiver mount snow plow. It dropped the plow nicely so that it cleared the bottom of my air damn as well as the lower bar of an add on brush guard. I have this on an F250 Ford. Way to much truck for such a light plow so was'nt totally surprised by the twist. Still works ..... overall not to shabby.

Great for my 2018 mercedes sprinter campervan as it's tow bar was too low. This extension is long enough to clear the rear step. Very strong and heavy. One star lost for bad packaging. A single layer of cardboard that had split open on arrival. Some bubble wrap would have been good to see.

I had purchased a snow plough for my truck but found the receiver on the front of the truck to high. By lowering it 4 inches the blade contacted the ground more squarely especially when swivelled. This item is fantastic and very well-made

Solid.... well built , will last long time...The only drawback is ..... my safety are cut to exact lenght.... this receiver add 4" not only in rise/drop but in lenght too.... so I had to buy a shackle ....
