No more sleepless nights...
I cannot recommend this product enough. Ever since we bought the Angelcare Sensasure Baby Monitor I have been able to sleep peacefully at night knowing that my daughter is sleeping safely. I am no longer checking her to see if she is breathing or still sleeping on her back every five minutes. The units are small, discrete and easy to use.The sensory alarm system works well and sends a pulse through the mattress if it doesn’t detect any movement. If this doesn’t stir your baby then the alarms go off and there is no chance that you’ll be able to sleep through that.Pros:- No risk of being hacked, like video monitors- Reassuring sensory system- Discrete and compact- Reliable room temperature gauge- Turn off controls that you don’t want on e.g. temp control, sensory pad etc.Cons:- Sensory pad is small (A5 size-ish). If your baby likes to move to the corner of the cot (where the sensory pad isn’t) they will set off the alarm. However this is a minor point.

Don’t buy
We have tried everything to stop the alarm going off frequently. My baby has been kicking away when this has gone off for no reason. It has my nerves shot to pieces. Moving the mat, changing the sensitivity etc hasn’t helped. Don’t by this item.

Great for first time parents
This product is really great. Really has put my mind at ease. You are supposed to place the monitor in the middle of where you baby sleeps and let night my baby decided to end up on the other side of the cot, I guess he felt adventurous, and the alarm beeped and woke me up. So it does it job and works for us. The monitor is very easy to set up and use.

Not great but does the job.
I needed a new monitor as the age gap between my youngest two is only 16 months, therefore I want a monitor for both. This seems to be the only one on the market with the sensor pad. I already have the older angel care model with sensor pad and I much prefer that design. The older version is far easier to use, especially in the middle of the night when you’re struggling to see what you’re doing - add sleep deprivation into the mix and I have managed to set this alarm off multiple times.I read another review which said the alarm kept sounding even though their baby was breathing fine. We had this problem the first few nights after bringing our baby home from hospital. I was close to sending it back but we haven’t had that problem since (8 weeks in).Overall, it’s a good monitor, sensor pad slightly temperamental. It’s not the easiest piece of kit to use, but it’s much sleeker and smaller than the older model. Not as many wires either, which is a pain with the previous version.

Good simple device
Its a good product if you are worried your child my stop breathing at night. Works well as we found when we took daughter out to feed and the alarm goes off after 20 seconds. You can pause it for when then happens and it will beep quietly to say its pause which is good. Simple unit with no extra stuff
