Easy to use and Food tastes Great
I read the reviews before I purchased this. I asked around to see if my friends and aquaintances had an air fryer and if they liked them. I didn't hear anything negative, so I finally broke down and bought this one. Some reviewers mentioned issues with the door not sealing, etc. I am happy to say, that so far, I have not had any negative issues with this air fryer.I made wings in it several times - twice putting them in the rotisserie basket and once just using the shelves. The rotisserie wings were great but cleaning the basket wasn't a lot of fun. Figured out if you just soak it for a bit in hot soapy water and use a dishwashing brush on it, it cleaned up pretty easily.I made little apple tarts in it last weekend and baked a 3.5 lb chicken, using the rotisserie spindle, a couple of days ago. The apple tarts turned out perfect and the chicken was awesome. I am looking forward to seeing what else we can try in it. The chicken wasn't hard to attach to the rotisserie and in just a little over an hour, it was thoroughly cooked. We have been buying rotisserie chickens at Sam's Club but found our own home-baked chicken was better. The basket is great and the shelves clean up easily. The only thing I wish I had, was some type of a basket or pan that could sit in the bottom of the air fryer. Not really a draw back. I am very happy with this airfryer.

The king of air French fries
This fryer is elegant enough to earn a place on the counter. The display is working only “on demand”, meaning that you don’t have to sync another clock on your counter. The basket slides smoothly in and out and it is large enough to accommodate with room to spare the French fries coming from three potatoes, baked size.I got this fryer as an addition to the fryer that I have because I got tired of cooking the meal and the Frech fries in a serial fashion. Either the meal or the fries had to be put in the warming drawer, so you had to choose which one you want it perfect and accept with dignity and stoicism the other one.The model that I had opens like a clamshell so practically you need a spatula to stir the French fries. For Crownful this is much easier: just slide out and shake the basket. Although, unless your shaking technique includes tossing you still need a spatula if you want a suntan for the potatoes on bottom layer. Another feature that I like is that the basket is very easy to clean. It says that it is dishwasher safe, but I would do that. Not everything is perfect. There are no preheat settings, so you have to experiment. I put a thermometer inside the drawer and in my case, it took about 5 minutes to reach 390 F. Also, unlike the one that I have there is no screen that protects the heating element from splashing. Since I use it just for French fries is fine for my needs, but if you use it for greasy food expect smoking. As well, there is no ideal solution for removing the pan at the bottom of the basket because you need some type of hook that will be in the way. The solution Crownful chose, i.e., putting the hook on top of an indentation keeps the pan flat but always some fries get stock in dip (personally, I used an aluminum foil sheet that I folded just to cover the dip – one sheet is exact size that you need). In the end, taking also in the consideration the price point, this frier is definitely something to consider.

A simple and easy to use air fryer
I received this product for free from Crownful as part of their product testing program. We had not owned an air fryer prior to receiving this one as we were unsure if it was worth the counter space when we already owned an oven. We had the option to pick between the 5 quart and 7 quart models and we chose the 7 quart model as we didn't want to get one that was too small. Upon using the product, we were happy at how much space the 7 quart model had in the cooking basket. The air fryer does a very good job cooking food quicker than an oven and without heating up the whole house the way that an oven does. The food is also crispier than in an oven and when cooking foods like hot dogs or brats, you get a nice exterior like when you cook them on a grill. We did have to play around with cook times a bit for things that didn't have instructions in the manual or on their packaging, but if you err on the side of caution and cook for less time than you think you need, it is easy to check as you go and you can always add more time if it need more. One important note is that the instructions often tell you to shake the basket halfway through cooking and this is a VERY IMPORTANT step. We cooked a batch of cheese balls and forgot to shake it and it was very apparent in that some of the cheese balls that were in the batch that we didn't shake were soggy. We made a second batch of cheese balls and remembered to shake them and we didn't have that issue then. The controls on the unit are touch screen and there are no other buttons on the unit which makes for an easy wipe down when the outside of the air fryer needs to be wiped down. The basket has a removable bottom plate that is permeated with holes to allow for grease to drain which is nice and makes cleaning out the basket easy. Between cooking batches, it is easy to wipe out the basket with a paper towel to clean up crumbs and when the basket gets dirty and needs a real cleaning, it is dishwasher safe which is a major plus. My only minor complaints are that the time and temperature controls are reversed from what an English speaking person would expect with the + on the left and the - on the right and the cord wrap on the back is a little awkward to use. Neither issue would keep me from recommending the unit to friends and family, but they are improvements I would like to see in future model iterations. Overall, we are very satisfied with this product.
