I love this machine. Makes great espresso and coffee. Super easy to use and keeps me caffeinated. My guest like it too as it is a pretty neat little coffee maker. It is loud and slow to warm up, but the coffee is fabulous.

I have been shopping for this type of coffee maker for some time (sick of k-cups). I initially bought a much more expensive brand but returned it (to complicated to clean etc.). This coffee maker is excellent. Was so easy to set up and Coffee tastes great. Cappuccino feature is so convenient and produces great froth. I guess the only negative is the size of the water tank and that it pushes out water into the collection tray with every self cleaning. I just keep a small glass bowel to remedy it. Overall, I am super happy with my Phillpps!!!

A friend recommended a Phillips 5400 to me. I didn’t need a lot of those features, so I scaled down a bit.The Phillips 2200 makes good coffee. That’s about as much as I need to say about that. I’ve been using pods for years, but now I am free.The water reservoir is painfully small, and the waste bin fills quickly. An awful lot of water ends up in the waste tray. These two negatives are not a big deal. I suspect that even higher price machines have the same issues.The packaging is very thorough, which was a bit annoying but also reassuring. Outside of beating on the box with a hammer, this machine should arrive in good condition.4 stars. If the longevity claims are correct, I’ll be buying a new coffee maker in about 18 years. If it really does last that long, the next one will be Phillips as well.Now, that’s where my original review ended. That was within a few days of originally receiving this machine. Since then, the machine has started making odd noises and behaving strangely. Last night I cleaned the brew group and troubleshot issues for a few hours. Nothing seemed to help; the machine was only making a few drops of coffee at a time.I finally had the time to dig deeper today. On a Phillips support site, I finally found my answer. I thought there was no way it was such an easy fix, but I was wrong. My problem was the filter, and removing it instantly fixed my issue.Don’t fret! If something goes wrong, Phillips absolutely has a solution.

5 month update - I originally gave this a 5-star review but now I just can’t. I did love the machine overall then I had issues with the milk container leaking luckily as it’s under warranty I got a quick replacement. Then one day it totally stopped working, after descaling and trouble shooting for 2 days I found the 3 way valve to be broken. After calling customer support, being hung up on 3 times I’m told I need to ship it to a repair company and the anticipated time away is 30 days or more. Super disappointed that using this machine 2-3 times a day, taking immaculate care of it, cleaning the brew group as indicated, changing water filter etc it just breaks. This is not a cheap item and should last more than 5 months. Again as amazing as it is (when it works) proceed with caution.I used this machine on a cruise ship and was so impressed I came home and bought one. I have to say I absolutely love this thing! The cappuccinos are to die for with a perfect amount of silky smooth milk foam! Worth every penny! Highly suggest!

It's pretty easy to clean and looks good overall. The latte-go frother is decent and easy to use/clean, but I get better results with a cheap stand-alone frother. Outside of that, not much positives. Both espresso and coffee come out very bitter. I've adjusted temperature and every other setting and it still isn't good. I've blind compared it to french press, moka pot, and even reusable keurig pods and the coffee comes out much more bitter and weak every single time (same beans/roast/bag). The water tank constantly shows that it is out of place so I have to slide it out and then back in before I make coffee almost every time. It's a minor inconvenience, but it feels like a manufacturing/design problem/defect and I don't want to wait and see if it gets worse before the return window closes. I've gone through the troubleshooting guide and looked online for input from others and nothing has worked unfortunately. I'll be returning it and going back to the drawing board to see if I want to spend the cash on another fully automatic or go with something else.

I am happy I received a new coffee maker. The first one was used so I returned. This time great new machine. It quoted grinds quietly. The coffee is smooth end velvety. The size is perfect for my countertop. Great purchase . Quality item easy to use with different settings. Love🥰

This is a great, fully automatic espresso, coffee and cappuccino maker. Very easy to use and it makes great coffee drinks. The bean compartment could be a bit larger, but that's the only criticism I can come up with. It works as well as many of the much more expensive machines out there, great value for money.
