Durable and Effective
The 12 x 18 inch RV tank heating pad truly lives up to its purpose. From my experience, it was easy to install thanks to its adhesive backing, and the automatic thermostat was a huge relief I didn’t have to worry about turning it on or off manually The material quality is sturdy and held up well in freezing temperatures without any issues. My 50 gallon freshwater tank stayed functional during a night of sub zero temperatures. I also appreciated that it doesn’t waste energy, as it shuts off when the ambient temperature reaches a safe level. It’s a simple, reliable, and efficient solution to prevent tank freezing during winter. I would definitely recommend this heating pad to any RV user looking for a practical and durable option.

Just what I needed
These heating pads are just what I needed for our rv holding tank. These are so easy to use and put on. They give me peace of mind that my tank won't be freezing now. They are very well built and heat up nicely. This is a cheap price for the peace of mind that comes with them.

The solution you need if your water tanks always freeze...
I have a coffee truck and there are always problems once the temperature reaches single digits. Everything wants to freeze up and become solid. One BIG problem is a 30 gallon water tank that once it turns into a giant ice cube, I can forget about doing any business for DAYS till it defrosts. But this simple, no-nonsense tank heating pad absolutely has made things much easier, and certainly less stressful. Plug it in, it heats up, keeps my tank from freezing up entirely, and still leaves me with water to use. Worth it, simple, and wish I had it last winter.

It's not just china, it's a handmade chinese product.
After reading the description and a few reviews I was completely confused about what it is and how it works, so I had to buy and test it out myself. I was very optimistic about this product at first, but then I realized how much garbage it is and returned it back.First of all, it's a handmade product: someone used scissors to cut a piece of adhesive pad, glued a heated wire to it and taped the power cord with some duct tape. No fuses, no thermostats, no switches, no technology to notify you that it's working or has been out for a while – just a piece of sticky paper with heating wires. Anyways, I decided that my RV is too expensive for such experiments and decided to buy a more reliable product.

Worked in 20°
Worked for us boondocking / tailgating in 20° weather for about 36 hours. Kept fresh water tank thawed and we water the whole time.

Used these to keep my LiFePo battery warm.
My inverter and batteries are in a enclosed but unheated outdoor enclosure. I used these heating pads combined with a tempature controlled extension cord to keep them warm when it was 2° outside.

good value
installed them on my conversion van for a fresh water tank and a grey water tank, the adhesive seemed to be powerful enough to hold them in place, shipment was on time.I installed them without the thermostat they come with, I'll be using a digital external thermostat to have more control.so far so goodI would buy them again

These pads Do not get very warm
Not worth the money unless you add lots of extra insulation to help cover even more of the bottom of your tank. They just don't get warm enough
