Great deal!
5/22/2024 Update. 4000 miles and still going strong.. not a single issue with these wheels and I would buy them again in a second if I needed another set!7/20/18 Update: 2026 miles on these wheels so far and what can I say? I can’t complain about anything. The wheels are as true as the day I received them. No issues with the spokes or hubs. The carbon breaking surface shows virtually no wear. I will be buying another set when the time comes. Honestly I don’t see any reason NOT to buy this set of wheels. The price can’t be beat compared to a “name brand” set of wheels.2/8/18 update: 808 miles as of this review. Not a single issue with this set of wheels. I’ve been very happy with this purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking at getting a set of carbon wheels. As with any product, there will always be the exception, but so far I have nothing bad to say about them.As for the reviews showing delamination and failure, my question is we’re the wrong brake pads used? Pad MUST be for carbon wheels.8/24/17 Update: 458 miles on these wheels so far and not one single issue. My last big ride was the 2017 Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day. aka (RAMROD) with over 10,000 feet of elevation the ride had plenty of downhill as well.... Proper adjustment of the brake pads is paramount in order to prevent the brake shoe squeal!!! Mine don't make any noise. Very Happy with these wheels and feel the quality is equal to if not better than some of the more expensive name brand wheels. Not to discredit the name brand wheels, my point is the price is right for these wheels and if a carbon wheel is what you want to try, you don't need to spend a small fortune. I will continue to Update my experience as i feel it's important to share the information.7/6/17 Update: I've ridden 300 miles on the wheels so far. Not as much as I would have liked to, but a slight leg injury hampered my riding. However, no issues found so far and the wheels are as straight as they were when I first received them. One note though, yes, they did squeal when I first set the brakes up; it was actually annoying. Fortunately for "YouTube University" I found the proper way to set the brake pads. No more squeal with a little "toe in" set up.. the actual difference is a playing card thickness measured at the Aft end of the brake. Seems to work great.I'm riding two big rides this month. I will posts more as I complete the rides..I have a 2012 Spcialized Tarmac pro and my original wheels needed some maintenance and trueing. In the mean time I wanted to keep riding and for really no reason at all I searched amazon for 700c carbon fiber wheels and these superteam wheels came up.. I was shocked to see they were only about $350; a fraction of what other name brand composite wheels were being sold for... hesitant I read every single review that was posted...Of course doing an online search of superteam wheels brings up the usual "made in China junk, you get what you pay for, etc etc etc..." unfortunately and I hate to say it, but every one that made negative comments about these wheels probably wrote it with a "made in China" phone or computer. Everything is made in china nowadays..however I don't want to make that point with this review. The wheels were very well packaged, very straight and I didn't see any issue with the carbon layup...honestly a large portion of what I read online additionally to all the amazon reviews were positive. So without hesitation I ordered a set and had the chance to ride the bike last Saturday. Rode for 53 miles and found at this point noting negative to say about them.. My buddy paid over $1200.00 for a set of BMC carbon wheels... will they hold up as long? Not sure so we will see..So far, it's an excellent opportunity to see what carbon wheels look and feel like for a fraction of the cost. Am I worried about failure? No more than with any other wheel. More so I'm afraid of being hit from behind as I'm riding the white line.... it is what it is right?I'm certainly not a pro rider of any means, nor am I some young gun under 30 years old... I'm 52 just trying to keep at it, and keep my bike updated with what works and not breaking the bank. I bought my bike used as well...it was 4 years old when I bought it and have put over 3500 miles on it since 2016...If a future review is warranted, I will post it. As it is now, I'm happy with my purchase!😊

A worthy upgrade if you have the right expectations
I have a 2010 Trek 2.3. I had upgraded it over the years but it was looking 'old' with the 23c tires, natural aluminum colored rims, and the bundle of cables hanging off the front of the handlebars.I bought these to do one thing only, update the look of my bike. It definitely did that. They look absolutely fantastic and are worth every penny even before I talk about performance.I started with upgraded Mavic Aksium rims with cheap 23c training tires, which are a cheap update but were very lightweight and functioned very well. I bought these rims and added cheap 28c training tires. I did the same 36 miles route 2 days in a row, one with the old rims and one with the new. I also tried to control my heart rate so I wouldn't subconsciously 'try harder' one day over the next. Very unscientific and subjective results but long story short I finished the route with the new rims 8 minutes faster of the 36 miles. The results indicated I was able to ride faster with less effort. I actually think this is due to what you would not expect. Between the two wheelsets, I think the old wheels with smaller tires and purposely lightweight tubes are lighter than my new wheel/tire/tube combo. I felt like I was descending faster and once I got up to speed, I could carry that speed longer up the next hill before having to change gears.Maybe my theory is bad, but the wheels made a positive difference after one longer ride. One tip, when I switched over to the new rims, I took the 10 speed cassette off the old wheels and use it on the new. When I moved it I did not move over the spacer that allows the 10 speed cassette to be used on the 11 speed freehub. That was a mistake. The spacer between the two wheelsets were not the same size causing the new chain to make a strange noise when pedaling. I could have adjusted the rear derailleur to fix this, but I choose to just switch over the spacer from the old wheel to the new wheel and that fixed it. Just FYI.UPDATE:Please take the time to read some of the 1-star reviews and understand the limitations of this wheelset. Your safety very much depends on it. I live in the rolling hills (not mountains) of the Midwest. These wheels work wonderfully here with no issues at all. I still intend to put many many miles on them. If you ride in the mountains, or intend to do so with this wheelset, DO NOT BUY THESE RIMS. Long, mountainous descents with brakes applied can cause the bead to overheat and bulge or even shatter.

Initially a good product...until the hub failed
I was hoping to write a positive review for these wheels because they are lightweight and were overall faster than my previous set. I totally agree with all of the concerns about braking, but since I live in the midwest this wasn't a major concern. No mountains in my weekly workout. The problem for me occurred at the end of my first season with these wheels when the hub completely failed. My LBS said I needed a new hub, bearings, the works. Total cost for repair = $200. When I reached out to Superteam, they said it wasn't their concern despite the fact that the posting says the wheels have a two-year warranty. If you only need one season for your wheels, I guess these are for you. Definitely wish Superteam would have supported their product, but that wasn't my experience.
