Arrives very well packaged. You only need to use a small amount. It is very salty. I love the plum vinegar taste.

I am so glad that Amazon carries this product. Eden foods is a great company. I cannot find ume plum vinegar in any of the natural food stores I frequent. So I was very happy to find it on Amazon. I use the vinegar in my salad dressing recipes, especially. The salty taste is great also on sliced tomates and other raw vegetables--along with a splash of olive oil. Also in potato salad.

This is my go to flavor….salty and tangy! I put it on everything I make. A little goes a long way. It’s great on beans, salad dressing, seafood, anything! If I could, I’d give it 10 stars!

I found this product to be more salty than anything else. The saltiness dominated the ume and acidic qualities of the vinegar. It wasn't a good fit for me, as I was using it for a cocktail shrub, and didn't want it to lean too savory. I ended up finding a lovely ume vinegar at my local Japanese grocer, but one container cost almost as much as three of these, so five stars on the price!

Ume vinegar is one of the great condiments, and excellent - but hard to find. It's salty, goes on vegetables, fish, meat, salads - adds an extra zing to the flavor.
