The door stops here
I live in a somewhat windy area so I purchased 4 of these. The soft rubber material grips good on tile and carpet and has no problem at all holding my doors open. Yes I can still move door if I put my weight behind it but that's not what a door stop is designed for. At 1 3/4" high it works fine on all my doors.

Best door stop I found
Best doorstop I found. Substantial material, and ridges keep door from slipping on doorstop, and keep doorstop from slipping on carpet. Also the leading edge of the wedge is nice and narrow, to easily slip under most doors.

Nice enough product - sturdy and all
Nice enough product - sturdy and all, Doesn't work well on hardwood floors. Not eligible for return (only had it 2 weeks). Unfortunate. I won't buy from this vendor again.

Love these for my hotel!
We have HEAVY doors at the hotel and wood floors in the entry. Small stoppers just roll up and slam the door on our house keepers. These big guys do the job and hold the doors open without rolling up or just giving out and slamming on someone.

Works well, big enuff to find it when you want to use it and you can kick it out of the way, if you want, because it's not too heavy. Good size, would work well if the door has a lot of clearance.

slides around. Doesn't stay put
Rubber is supposed to have a high friction coefficient. This door stop seems like rubber; I mean, it's not hard plastic. You can push the door straight open though, and the thing just slides along. This door stop very much likes to go with the flow.

Probably ok for a linoleum floor
Doesn't stay put on carpet. The ridges make it harder to wedge in between the door & door frame to use that way.
