I prefer a matte screen protector to reduce the glare from my phone and tablets. I had purchased a Mothca screen protector for my phone and was amazed at the quality, so I purchased one for my iPad. I find that this screen protector does not have the distortion that my other ones had and that it is very smooth. On top of that the pencil or stylus are very smooth. Fingerprints and oil smears do not show up. It cleans well. And it installed with no air bubble. I don't know what Mothca does differently, but this will be the screen protector of choice for me.

I've ordered many screen protectors over the years...for iPhones and multiple iPads and most had never lived up their advertised attributes. Especially the matte versions and being resistant to glare and fingerprints. I'm a bit OCD about such things since these days as a filmmaker I use my iPad Pro 12.9 (pictured here) as my viewing monitor when lining up and framing shots. This screen protector seems to live up on both counts...glare and smudges! As for screen protection from falls... well I'm not about to test that but will hope it's ok there as well. Installation was super straight forward and the included "Frame/jig" helped a lot in that department. FYI I've seen where a few peeps had complaints about chips and cracks. None were an issue here but know that if you do that relift to reapply when trying to line up the protector or get rid of unanticipated bubbles by adding that extra pressure will sometimes result on cracks and/or chips. Its glass after all.

I prefer a tempered glass screen protector over the flexible film type for my iPad Pro 12.9.” I sometimes mount my iPad on the treadmill and without this screen protector, I always had sweaty fingerprints marks and smears all over it. The quality of this protector is great. It’s matte, which reduces glare, feels better to the touch than the iPad screen and you can barely see any smears. If there are smears, you can easily wipe them away with the back of a finger - not something you can do without this. I also noticed a small bubble I couldn’t remove (likely my fault) and they sent me a replacement immediately. Amazing customer service!

I got this after much research for the best screen to buy for using my Apple Pencil on Procreate. I love the anti-glare. I have only known this iPad over the last few years with a smooth tempered glass, which is like drawing on ice. The feedback is great! Not like “paper and pencil” feedback, but very intuitive and just “right”. I love it. I put it on with no problems at all because the alignment perimeter guide casing was perfect. And I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who wants to reduce fingerprints, reduce (pretty much eliminate) glare, and have an extremely hard (9H) screen protector, perfect for touch sensitivity and drawing/writing with the pencil. The protector itself is really nice. It’s glass with a matte finish on 98% of it. The edges still have a glossy finish but this is most likely done to accommodate the real 2.5D edge which is the cherry on top in terms of touch usage. Others market a 2.5 edge but wow they are still sharp. This one is not, and it is smooth. Using it in hand with mainly touch makes it for a silky smooth experience especially with the matting that was done. To note the Face ID cut out is not 2.5D like the rest of the edges. My only gripe is the application. For this price many others can throw in the flimsy plastic to help with alignment. This one uses “guide” tape which doesn’t even stick to the protector to keep it guided because of how silky smooth it is. I opted not to use it and just eye ball it (which I nailed the first time luckily).

So I have been using another brand that’s very good but it’s glossy and I can see myself while watching my iPad so I decided to try this one and what a difference in the clarity. The screen almost looks a lot better because of the dark look. The glare is reduced especially when I have my iPad in my car and the sun is out. I’m waiting for customer service for a question I have as customer service is huge for me so I will update but for now this is a solid product. They even included a small protector for the camera and I may have missed that in the listing but that’s pretty cool. You do get a template to allow you to lay the protector down nice and flat which makes install very easy.

Initially bought an ipad air 11 inches and got a mothca matte screen protector for the same. Decided to return the ipad and get an ipad pro 13 inches. Reached out to Mothca regarding the situation and they sent me a FREE 13 inch protector for my new ipad. I’m literally having tears of joy lolAs for the quality of the screen protector, it feels so good and solid. A lil reduction in the screen quality which is expected from a matte screen protector, but the texture is so frickin good!

I really liked this product - easy to apply, zero bubbles, love the feel and glare protection. It just doesn’t allow for Face ID. So I’ll be ditching this one and purchasing another.
