My daughter uses as a nightlight. Had a timer and goes off after 5 mins or so. Cute and cuddly as a teddy and not worried about being in bed as not hard at all. The light is not too bright and cycles through colours. A good toy, teddy, comforter or nightlight. Would recommend.

The Dummy Fairy bought my little one this puppy as a present for sending her dummies and bottles away to 'The Babies'.It was a huge hit and is cuddled every night.The lights change colour - some colours are a little bright but soon change. They also turn off after a few minutes, which is great and means I don't need to try and turn it off once little one is asleep.It's battery powered and we are yet to replace the (cheap) batteries after a week of night time use (EDIT - 1 year later, batteries are beginning to wear out..)It took a few days to realise there was a button in its paw to turn on the lights, I don't think the description stated this and there were no instructions.Soft and fluffy. The velcro for the battery pack is quite rough but it is also strong - if closed properly is not a problem.I (/The dummy fairy) was a bit wary buying this, but it's really loved by my 2 year old! Would recommend and buy again.

Got this toy for my 2 year old son who loves dinosaurs, he was so happy so we put batteries in and he pressed the button all smiles! After 2mins we smelt burning plastic so my husband checked it and the lights were burning hot and actually started to melt the fabric! Very dangerous! Nice idea but poorly designed.EDIT contacted seller and they sent out a new one plus extra little goodies for my son (bubbles, puzzles etc) really nice seller very helpful and put the smile back on my sons face 😊

My 5 year old has recently become quite scared of the dark and had taken to clutching a camping lantern (battery powered) at night, whilst having it on. It did not look comfortable so I set about finding something better and stumbled across this toy (she chose the unicorn). It’s brilliant and perfect for her, soft, fairly bright and with colour changing lights. What I also really like is that it clicks itself off after about 5 minutes, so, when she falls asleep, it isn’t burning through batteries all night. My daughter loves it!

Brought the unicorn light up for my daughter’s birthday in February.Lovely little unicorn teddy, she absolutely adores it.Three months in and the lights have stopped working, which is frustrating.

Received and it didn't work. Unfortunately it didn't light up. Ordered as a Xmas present for my son, he was rather upset. So had to organise a refund and organise a new one. Refund and pick up of old one all went well. Ordered new one and was meant to be delivered today, just checked delivery and now changed to 2 weeks away. Thanks a lot. Going to have a not so very impressed 5 year old!
