Frenchic Al Fresco, Cream Dream, Chalk & Mineral Furniture Paint, Weatherproof, For Inside/Outside (250ml)

I've used many chalk paints and this range is one of the best. This is a lovely pale cream colour, applies easily and quickly, and as it's self levelling has a very smooth finish. No brush marks!I've only used it on smaller items, such as mirrors, picture frames, ornaments, candle sticks etc, so can't comment on how effective it is on larger areas/items but it is fab on all I've painted. I use a coat of wax afterwards for a light sheen and extra protection and have had no chips or scratches. It is more expensive than others but it's worth it and a little paint goes a long way.

So easy to use, great coverage and a lovely finish

I reupholstered my dining room chairs which had wooden legs. I needed a particular colour for the legs to match the rest of my furniture. I bought his paint and initially was disappointed with the size of the tin and thought it would not give the coverage I required. But on the other side, if I did have to buy another tin, my chairs would have cost about £25.00, which is cheaper than £600+ for new chairs. Turns out the paint did three coats on each chair which adds up to three coats on 24 chair legs. First coat was like the undercoat, the next two coats covered beautifully and a coatt of clear varnish for protection. Could not be happier. The thing is, be patient, one coat at a time till whatever you are painting looks perfect. I one hundred per cent recomment this paint. Against what I originally thought, great value for money. Would definately buy again.
