FYI I got the style with the led "halo" and it looks modern and very expensive.WOW, this took a bit of work but it is SO GOOD. The instructions are tiny so get your reading glasses out if you need them, find your WD40 or similar, and grab a friend. And a bowl to dump the hardware into. Once you are set up, unbox and remove the plastic.Set up the remote first. Insert those batteries. Then plug in the lamp and probably you'll have to activate the step on button on the cord. Then turn it on with the remote. Yes yes you don't have it set up yet, but you should always test stuff like this first before you spend the next part of your life assembling it.Once you are sure it works, unplug. Dump the hardware into your bowl. Follow the directions to a T. Except, spray some of the WD40 on everything that needs screwing together. There's 2 times where you really need your friend. First step and last step. So one of you needs to hold that first part of the arm, and the other twists on the lamp part. It is virtually impossible to twist it on all the way without WD40. That will take some patience. Then it says to put in that tightening screw. I was just.... bad at that. I could not get it to catch. So I put it back in my bowl. It's now in a ziplock bag in a file folder in case I need it later.Patiently screw the arm parts together. I could not get one set of holes to line up to save my. life - so I only screwed in one in that part. So that screw is also in that file folder for later. I want this lamp to last a good 10 years so if I'm smarter in the future I'll try again with my future self.NOW grab that friend again. I needed friend to give me moral support as I screwed in the base to the arm and you've got to do this with everything laying down on the floor. If you are NOT handy and haven't screwed stuff together much in the past, you will need friend to hold base vertically while you are facing the bottom of the base to do the screwing. I hand tightened it till I could not go further, then used the tool to tighten all the way. I've done stuff like this all my life so I could do it "blind" and not face the bottom of the base.Now friend and you need to work together to gently stand it up. Make sure you have enough room that you won't hit a ceiling fan. It's a HEAVY base so make sure you do not set it down on a finger. I kinda wish there were little felt pads on the base to give you a bit of room to grab it when you need to move it. It's a chore to move. Instinct makes you want to grab the arm to pick it up. Experience tho tells me that's going to be the fastest way to stress it and lead to it's decline.Once I got this guy in place I LOVE IT. I use it primarily to light a table we use to play games on. It's reach is perfect and no one is hitting their head except maybe my tallest son but he's careful!I hope this helps future people. It's totally worth it I think. It was a tiny bit steep in price but the light part is super quality and the base is real marble.It looks modern and NOT CHEAP. If I saw this in someone's home I'd think $300 at least. Good luck!

This floor lamp is SPECTACULAR!!! HUGE, DRAMATIC and EVERYTHING I was looking for. The setup was easy, I used a youtube video as the instruction maunal was confusing. I bought this thinking I would be able to tuck the base under my couch but it was a bit too high, so check your under couch clearance. The base just like all the reviews I read, is HEAVY. No worries of this tipping over! The arch as well as the lamp shade is a whole vibe. It is a piece of art by its self.! The lamp uses a max of 13 WATTS. I searched high and low for a lamp to fill in space and that would provide bright lighting. This totally elevated my space and is a show stopper!

This lamp is solid and beautiful. The marble base is very heavy and the pipes are solid. It was very easy to assemble, as you don't have to spin the entire pipe like cheaper lamps. The only down side is that the cord is black. I wish it was clear so blend in with the surroundings. It doesn't tuck into the base, so it sticks out bright and black against the white marble base and nickel metal. I already returned a smaller cheaper arc lamp. This one is perfect for my 9ft ceilings

Overall it’s a nice lamp, got the single shade brushed silver metal. At this price point, one can’t really complain too much, but just know that the shade is horribly ugly and cheapo looking (really any shade you gotta unwrap and velcro is gonna be bad), plastic diffuser. So i actually just ordered a nicer shade that unfortunately cost just as much as this lamp lol. The light bulb this comes with is also a throwaway, very dim. I’m controlling it via a smart plug at the outlet, so wasn’t planning on using the remote controlled bulb anyway.The quality of the metal is ok, there’s a slight bend/dent in the second portion of the arm, but again, price point. The marble base is nice - good weight (which is to say very heavy), no chips or cracks. Functionally, it works fine, once set, the foot pedal on/off switch allows control elsewhere in the chain if you’re also planning on using a smart plug, bulb, or outlet. Overall build quality isn’t the best, even the socket on mine was a bit crooked, threading is very rough - but not a big deal. Their advertised measurements are pretty accurate, i’ve got mine extended all the way out, just note that it’s going to droop down to about 5 and a half feet (bottom of shade to floor) if you do that.So with all that said, and even with buying a better shade, it’s still a great deal.

Very happy with the floor lamp! Looks great in our beach house. Shade is definitely white, just what we wanted. Inserted a new LED bulb that gave a cool, white glow. Strong arm to lamp, heavy base, extremely stable. If you have trouble lining up the arm screws with the holes, stick with it, they work! Exact fit, tight for a reason!

I read all the reviews on this lamp and I was worried about putting it together. I’m 70 f and I didn’t have any problems putting this together. I did scan the QR on the instructions and watched the video twice just to make sure I didn’t miss something. I love the end results. It’s very sturdy and adds a great ambiance to my room. I highly recommend this lamp.

This is the perfect lamp for our needs! It looks great and provides lighting over our game table.
