They are made of good quality, did it’s job well.

I was going to post pix of the RSIC-1 and these side by side, but I'm too tired. However, I ordered both and these appear to be the exact same. I haven't done any tests, etc., but if I needed more, I'd order these.

They don't fit on standard hat channel well. We had to crimp them to get them to stay on.

Best price for this kind of mount. Works fine.

Works well reduced the outside sound penetarting the metal building very well. We built a studio control room and now you cant hear the planes flying over head.

If the primary goal of these isolation clips is to reduce impact noise from the room above, they didn't do much for me. In fact, if I had to do it all over again, I’d probably skip the clips altogether.I was careful during installation, ensuring that only the rubber part of the clip touched the 2x4 on the ceiling, avoiding any contact with the metallic cylinder on the clip.For those who still want to use these clips, it’s important to consider the length and strength of the screws you choose. The screw needs to be able to handle the weight per clip relative to the square footage of the area you're working on.For an area of 160 sqft, I used 30 clips (I might have overdone it). I installed two layers of 5/8" thick drywall (8 x 5/8" in total), bringing the total weight on each clip to around 18 lbs, while each clip is rated to carry up to 36 lbs. So, ensure your screws are strong and long enough to support the weight accordingly.

These should have worked for our application but when we tried to install them it wouldn't work in our space. Now they refuse to refund the item.
