I bought this when I was 17 and wanted to pierce my own septum. While I recommend letting professionals handle things, I also know what’s it’s like to be stubborn and not take no for an answer. If you were going to DIY, it has everything you need at home from the clamps, the needle in different sizes, gloves, sanitizing wipes, and jewelry. I still have my septum in, and later decided to pierce my own belly button. It slowly rejected later and I removed it, but that was due to user error rather than the kit. You can pierce your nose, belly button, nipples, etc. Loved it.

Great value for a low price!! No one is doing nose piercings right now because of covid but I really wanted my septum pierced. After doing tons of research I did it myself with this amazing kit. It came with everything I needed to safely pierce my nose. It shipped quickly and arrived on time. My piercing is healing wonderfully and it is barely sore at all.The needles in this kit are so sharp that any pain is minimal and over with very quickly. I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this without doing proper research on piercing aftercare. However, once you kind of have an idea what you’re getting yourself into, this is an amazing kit to help you get there.The jewelry included in the kit is very good quality. The needles and clamps come sterilized in their packaging. However, the piercing jewelry itself is not sterilized. This is an easy fix, I just soaked my ring of choice in 91% isopropyl alcohol for 30 minutes before using it. One more thing I would recommend is purchasing an oral numbing cream, it’s usually in stores next to dental floss. I used this inside my nose and let it numb before piercing through my septum.Amazing kit and a great price!

As somebody who works in surgery, I know quite a bit about sterility semantics and whatnot. I was pleasantly surprised to see the contents of this were labeled to have been sterilized using ethylene oxide. If done correctly, then everything in this kit should be safely and accurately sterilized, which is honestly, more than I expected.Over all, this kit worked great! I gave myself 2 lower helixes and double 2nd lobe piercings. So 4 piercings in total. I did that a few days ago and so far they’re going well. Just be conscious of your own anatomy and be quick and concise.My only critique is 2 things: If you want to have a 16g piercing like me, use the 15g needles so that you can thread the jewelry through the needle for a less painful transition. (The 16g jewelry won’t fit into the 16g needles.) This kit only comes with TWO 15g needles and you should never reuse a needle. And secondly, the clamps are a little wonky. They’re made of plastic and work well enough (I may be spoiled), but they do feel a little cheap. They make the process much better though, I just would have liked for them to be less skewed.Lastly, your body will try to fight you when piercing yourself! So if you just can’t commit to it, wait and have a friend help you. I have multiple other piercings that hurt worse than any I did on myself, but it’s a much different experience watching the needle and making yourself do it. Icing the area isn’t necessary because by the time you situate the clamps and needle, blood will have already rushed back to the area, making it red and irritated, and you’ll bleed more and it’ll hurt more too. I recommend listening to music to hype yourself up.In all, I was really pleased with this kit! And I saved all of my left over supplies just in case. Just remember to play it safe and practice good aftercare with salt soaks or pick up some H2O Ocean spray! :)

This is a great value! The amount of jewelry you get and the kit to add more is better than most of what you'd find. I haven't used the piercing tools yet, but it did look like to come with everything needed to get the job done. I did intend to use it, but it turned out that the whole was still there, the piercing just needed a little persuasion. I did lose one piercing entirely, one ball at a time then the bar, and lost another one another one. That hasn't been an issue with other piercings i've purchased in the past. I've kept the same ones in for years. I've had these for about 2 months and have had to change one of each i've used so far. The color is good and in the time i haven't seen any color change in wearing the piercings daily, working out, in pools and beaches.

Okay so the kit comes with 16g, 15g, 14g, and 13g needles. There are few 15 and 13g needles although. The kit also has two clamps and a pair of gloves. I pierced my septum with this kit and it went great! This is my third time repiercing my septum since the first time it was crooked, and the second I had to take out in the middle of healing as my grounded punishment lol, the times I've pierced myself I've used kits from bodyj4you and they all had no problems so far, for the actual septum piercing I used 16g jewelry (small thinner one ) and used a 15g needle (which is a bit bigger than the 16g) in order to give it more room for when I slid the jewelry in. The piercing is comfortable and this kit is a great value for money! If you pierce yourself, please use NON IDIONIZED SEA SALT to clean! Mix about 1/4 of a teaspoon of the salt with warm water and clean your piercings. Do not use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide as it can irritate the hole since they are strong, and alcohol tends to kill the healthy cells you need to heal. Don't forget the slower you go, the more painful it is, so take a deep breathe and when you exhale push through a bit fast. Please be careful piercing yourself research as much as you can, watch youtube videos and make sure not to touch your piercing with dirty hands as you run the risk of infection. Great kit, I loved it :)
