This set is amazing for girls who like to make thier own jewelry! It makes a great gift!

-the clay was packaged very airy-the mold was bent so it was hard to work with-every single color had 1/2 of it dried-the white was extremely thin and sticky the little bit left in the packaging was like that-it is really hard to glue the things to the backing metal-extremely messy and you are gonna need something to wipe hands off. It makes your hands sticky too.-The clay is hard to get out of the mold because the clay just sticks to it.-the glue doesn’t hold the backing of the clay charms-really messy-cheap metal(or plastic i dunno)PROS-fun colors-you can make really unique jewelry-you can make it however big you want-customizable-comes with jewels-all the products came with it-adjustable ring

The clay in the BRIGHT STRIPES Jewelry Kit was a tad messy for the 5–10-year-old girls who customized their own jewelry with the enclosed chains, pendants and other pieces provided. NOTE: It’s important to keep the kids hands moist with water while working with the clay, otherwise, the clay will stick to their fingers and everywhere else – we used a dipping bowl of water. The molding plate was good for making round clay balls, but I needed to supply the girls with more glue to finish some of their jewelry. Overall, the girls enjoyed the experience of crafting their own jewelry, but I did wish there were more pieces to work with.

The molds that come with the kit are plastic so do use caution removing the clay from the mold because it isn't the strongest and can crack or warp. I honestly wouldn't call this a jewelry making kit as all you make with it is beads and pendants but with those you can make bracelets or necklaces but there isn't a mold to make rings so don't except to make them. The clay is airdry so the timer to use them start as soon as they're removed from the bag and you start using it. You could put it back in an airtight storage to keep it fresher longer.
